I applaud his honesty when it comes to the new age of wrestling and the current staate of announcing. And this is before Cole . . . Poor Bob if he had to listen to him. I applaud his honesty and he has left many memories in the minds and hearts of many fans. Jim Ross is probably the last of the old time play-by-play announcers in the same class a Caudle and Solie. . . .
Bob Caudle was the first man I ever seen call a wrestling match and do an interview. Hearing his voice takes me back to when I was 7 and I used to sit in front of my TV on Saturday watching guys who would become legends. In my estimation, as a sheer wrestling play by play man, you don't get better than Mr. Caudle. Why can we not have more men in the Wrestling business (and I mean WRESTLING not Entertainment) like Bob Caudle?
Bob Caudle is a legend to me, when i was a kid i saw him more than any other commentator in the business. I think he was a great commentator and he seemed very genuine. He just seemed like a great guy and really knew what he was doing.
This guy related to the Crocketts pops up constantly on these IYH shoots, Jackie Crockett...he's becoming a mythical nutjob to me,...sure Bob remembers you,...at least this time he didn't explain about "what he goes through" because of his failed ambition to become a wrestler. lmao
@OaktownABQ Bob Caudle is one of my favorite !! Love him !!
And it wasn't kayfabe, Dusty and Flair really hated each other at one point, back in the mid 80's, mostly because Dusty was the Booker of Jim Crockett Promotions and because he was obviously jealous of Flair's popularity and jealous at how Flair was over back then. It was all about jealousy and "I make more money than you, I have a bigger car than you"...Battle of egos.

Nobody could touch Caudle's NWA style . He is my personal favorite of all time. He was great in SMW too.

Bob was a great announcer with an all time great job...he was the voice of Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling.
Rest in peace professional wrestling (1948-1985).

I love when these old-timers stick with kayfabe -- like, "There was no love lost between Ric Flair and Dusty Rhodes" LOL

@OaktownABQ um,....that wasn't keeping kayfabe,...the real life heat between Dusty and Flair has been made public over and over forever.
