You guys can keep and love your Pythons by having them mounted or stuffed or how about Dry Freezing Them? The reason for the ban is because of the damage caused by Python, African Rock Python & others. Parents are afraid to let their children play and a large African Rock Python was found in a culvert very close to a school playground. Pythons are Apex Predators & are killing family pets like dog + cats. I love my dog and any python I encounter gets shot and his head cut off. Kill all Pythons!

Cats are an invasive species. I watch my neighbor's cats eating native birds almost every day. Nothing is ever done about this, it isn't even illegal to let your cat out to run around freely. Pythons are dangerous you say? So are dogs... way more dangerous actually. The python ban isn't about the eco-system, or public safety, its about fear and control.

As a resident of Florida and someone who has worked for Mote Laboratories I can say it's MOSTLY not snake pet owners that caused the release of pythons into the Glades. The main culprit was hurricanes destroying breeding operations and causing these animals to be released accidentally into the environment. Sure, some pet owners do release but they NEVER 'flush' their pets. It is also very rare.

I can definitely send some of those out.
