RMVB videos from Real Media are not supported according to the website. You will need to use conversion software to convert them to a supported format.
Do you have to connect it to the router to access it on laptops/desktops? I wanted to use the drive on my smart tv but also have wireless access from my MacBook.
@anil2 The only connection it has is ethernet so you should attach it to your router. Your TV and macbook will then both be able to see the drive over the network, wireless or wired.
@0iiStyx You will have to go to the drive's configuration page, click on Advanced and then go to System, under system click on the Advanced icon and then if you look all the way to the buttom disable the LED Control > LED Status

@rcrholden i have one and the answer is yes. also - for $10 you can get a usb wifi N adapter and make it wireless.

the Y, Pb, Py is another video/audio connection method to connect to the tv instead of HDMI...

@rcrholden Any system trying to access it will wake it up. It means you have to wait 30 seconds or so before you can see its contents
