My mom had one of his LPs singing this song and I can remember singing it in the 4th grade at the time! LOL How GOOD N SWEET country music was back then. It was REAL and not the stuff they play on country radio stations today. God bless Hank Locklin!

this is sad for us opry fans...we lost mr. locklin and mr. ernie ashworth within the same week. Last year, I heard Mr. Locklin sing this song live on the Opry at the age of 90 and he sang it in the same key as when he originally recorded it.....very impressive.
