The first album I listened of Kreator was a Endless pain vinyl in early ´93 and Coma of Souls is fuckin´great!

Because they have real talent and loyal fans. I actually discovered "Death" around the same time I first got turned on to Kreator. I guess i was in 10th grade and "Human" just came out and I picked it up after I got out the dentist.I just remember hearing the drums from "Flattening of emotions" and i was hooked,I just remember i didn't pick up my metallica cds for a good month, because in my mind, Death replaced them as the metal gods of the universe(and to a 15yr old, that thought made sense).

Well thinking back to when I first listened to Metallica and all other bands for the first time. Hearing that thrashy sound of Kill 'Em All really brought me into thrash metal. All other bands were pretty boring to me (Megadeth, Anthrax, Early-mid Death). The thing about early Metallica was, they had originality and the great sound. Lars is a mediocre drummer and Kirk can't shred at all but it takes talent to make something out of it. I've always loved Metallica songs. That's just my opinion.

Metallica was always my favorite metal band(right behind Suicidal Tendencies, though the differed enough that i put them in different catagories) Just at the time i discovered Death, they just seemed to replace Metallica for about a month. I still loved them and did up until around 92. Like the guy said in that Metal documentary, I just needed something harder.
