2nd, straight people do have the right to marry, moron. That's why they can ...uh...get married. And if a gay person's marriage is not recognized by the state, then they don't have the same rights as straight people.
Try re-reading the Constitution and finding the privacy clause. Then, try murdering someone in a doctors office and claim privacy. Just because some judges ruled abortion is legal doesnt make it Constitutional.
2nd, no one has a right to get married. There is no right to marriage guaranteed in the Constitution. I dont remember reading about the marriage amendment, maybe you can find it. Marriage is a privilege like joining a frat or the Boy Scouts or NOW or the CPUSA. Not a rights issue.
Roe. vs. Wade, which guarantees the right to an abortion isn't in the constitution, and neither is anything about marriage. Just because something isn't in the constitution doesn't mean it's not a right or a law. Didn't you ever take 10th grade Civics?

1st off, re-read Roe vs. Wade. It is, in fact, a privacy matter. That's actually the whole point of the case. It guarantees, at a federal level, the right of a woman to have an abortion. That's why abortion is still legal in the most conservative parts of the country.
2nd, straight people do have the right to marry, moron. That's why they can ...uh...get married. And if a gay person's marriage is not recognized by the state, then they don't have the same rights as straight people.

2nd, no one has a right to get married. There is no right to marriage guaranteed in the Constitution. I dont remember reading about the marriage amendment, maybe you can find it. Marriage is a privilege like joining a frat or the Boy Scouts or NOW or the CPUSA. Not a rights issue.

Exactly, Roe v Wade isnt in the Constitution. There is no Constitutional backing for it, so the case was decided Un-Constitutionally. Same with segregation. And just because the court rules it, doesnt mean it is Constitutional. It is only Constitutional if it is in the Constitution.
As for rights, your rights are laid out in the Constitution. Everything else is a privilege.
And murdering a person out of the womb is the same as murdering them in the womb. How is abortion not murder?

Now, I work in the private sector, as a writer. I work from home 350 miles from the office. I make more money than I used to, get more benefits, and have A LOT of flexibility in my hours.
I go into the office about 5 days out of the year.

I'm not sure who will lead the revolt, but whoever it is, it's the democrat party that is its own undoing.
Just like the Republicans were THEIR own undoing.
Truth is, the Republican party lost touch with it's core principles. They grew government and expanded spending far more than Clinton ever did.
The funny part is.... even as Democrats whine about that fact, they embrace that form of governance...far more.

@visfati every objective economic indicator performs better under Democratic presidents than under Republican presidents. This is not a new phenomenon. It goes back as far as data is available.
GDP growth, job creation, budget deficits, income growth, stock returns, and on and on. All perform better under Democrats.
Republicans are just bad for the economy.

Goldman Sachs had a good quarter, most in currrency arbitrage.

Oh, I don't believe that government should have bailed out those companies.
That's very socialist of them..... because now the government owns a stake in them.
It was all about the government take-over of various parts of private industry. It was NOT about the bailout. The bailout will fail. It was designed to. But the government will retain its power over the companies, and a piece industry that were once privately run.
