There's no record that any Jewish sage, except The Christian apostle Paul, ever believed humans inherit an "original sin". They certainly believed we inherit the physical consequences of Adam's sin, but not a spiritual death that predestines us to Hell. This was clearly stated by the Jewish sages in The Tortosa Disputation of 1413. Jewish possession of the Holy land attest to God's favor for His chosen people; their eternal bride. Shalom.

Following Jesus lifestyle is a praiseworthy way of life. But claiming that a man had to die and rise from the dead, so that people won't go to hell, is so wrong that even contradicts Jesus teachings. In Luke 16:27-31 Jesus quotes Abraham telling a certain rich man that nobody had to rise from the dead in order for his family to be spared from Hell; that Moses law was more than enough for people to repent. Who is this man Abraham is referring to? Jesus, of course!

You know! ....Lazarus..Lazarus asked Abraham to send somebody to warn his brothers about hell....Lazarus was calling to Abraham from hell....apparently Lazarus could talk to Abraham who was in 'paradise', from hell....Lazarus was/is in hell suffering torments.....Abraham said to Lazarus...if his brothers don't believe the warnings of the prophets & Torah....how would they ever believe in a messenger who claimed was resurrected to bring a warning message from their brother whom is still in hell.

@bunyip9999 paradise was in the middle of the earth just like hades...Jesus went into the middle of the earth"paradise" to preach to the righteous dead for 3 days..not hades where they wicked were...The bible says that Hell/hades has enlarged itself...meaning the middle of the earth is now toally hades.

Actually it says that they(the rich mans bothers) have Moses and the prophets, let them(rich mans brothers) listen to them. If they wouldn't listen to Moses and the prophets they wouldn't believe the testimony of one who was raised from the dead (Yahshua). This PARABLE, doesn't imply that Jesus did not need to die and be raised from the dead in order to save mankind from sin and death. It only says that the rich mans brothers wouldnt believe even if one came back from the dead. [Proverbs 30:6]

I'm sorry if I gave you the wrong impression. I meant to say that even from a N.T. perspective, salvation only by faith in Jesus seems sort of inconsistent. The reality is that being a convert to liberal Judaism, I do not believe in the inspiration of the N.T. I guess what I mean to say is that I do not base my beliefs in anything related in the N.T.; whether it be interpreted one way or another. Of course, I do respect people's right to believe differently. Shalom

Yhwh gave the house of Jacob a certificate of "divorce" for breaking His commandments...By His own Law...He can not remarry her unless the Bridegroom dies...Messiah had to die or else, the "lost sheep" of the house of Israel will not be able to come back to the fold...just as the first exodus...the second exodus will be all of Judah, Israel and those who are not of either house, but join themselves to Yhwh

Shalom, Can you help me out with something? I have been searching for the word manger to be defined a sukkah or visa versa. I have looked through Strongs, Esword...........Can anyone direct me to this? I think that I saw it a few years ago. I just cannot find it now.
