As for people criticizing the music, I don't get it either. I mean I don't like country music much, but if I was playing a game with that kind of music in it and it went with the flow and feel of the game, I wouldn't mind it at all. The hard rock soundtrack in this game fits perfectly with everything else, so even if you don't like hard rock, I find it sad that anyone would let that blind them from the fact that this game is a masterpiece with beautifully designed levels and replay value.

I had read somewhere that when asked about the huge change in the prince and the atmosphere from the first game to this one, they said that being pursued by the Dahaka had had taken it's toll on him and that is reflected in this game by his change in attitude and atmosphere. I did not play SoT, but it is apparently quite repetitive which I don't like. I did play TTT, but WW is so much better.

@WonderDrugEchinacea Sands of Time is the only PoP I ever finished. I've played WW and TTT as well and WW is the only one which I have been starting over and over again, simply because after a while I get a craving for the atmosphere again (I have the same with hitman blood money, probably also because of the music) I once came pretty close to the end, tho. Thinking about it, I might just pick it up again :P

Also, the prince is an angry and depressed man in this game, he's not the wiseass teenager he used to be. Ubisoft wanted the music to reflect on the surroundings and the prince himself.
