there is only one real way to beat the final boss if you feel the same way thumbs up. You must have Cecil,Kain, Rydia, Rosa, and Edge. The sequal has to be beaten with the chaircters of old that we all know and loved (well maybe not loved edge...sorry edge fans..but that low defense was alw annoying) using this team so that way the classic heros (from the orginal ff2 for snes) we must win using the classics we all remeber

IV and VII were always my favorites. Six was pretty good too, but I don't get why people put it above seven. The ghost train was amusing and unexpected but the rest just felt like a pale shadow of seven. Particularly in the character department. I suppose Kefka destroyed the world and everything, but it's not like you got to survey the damage, things were just kind of gone after he danced with the statues.
@Cheaplymademan You pretty much answered your own question by saying the name Kefka, Kefka > Sephiroth as a villain. And you get way more character choices in FF6 than in any other Final Fantasy game so you got that much as why it's above 7. Though personally FF4 is my all time favorite.

I have to agree that they should have done more. They already just need to copy + paste the environment and most of the characters are developed from the 1st game so the scripting wasn't that hard. While great graphics don't mean a good game there is a line when it really is just lazy considering they remade FF4 for the DS they could have used that engine. The game is SUPER fan service and fun but only if you love the series and the original. Otherwise is a bad game.

I like this game ''Grandia II'' a lot , practically that was my first RPG game ever on console ''Dreamcast'' i was curious and checked out how does ''Grandia I'' looks like and i was disappointed since it looked just like this, but i never gave a try so just because it had awesome 2nd part i tried first one as well. In the end i wasn't disapointed as i though i would be story and gameplay levels went trough roof and could compensate for graphical presentation. SO ID GIVE IT A TRY!!!
the main story was way too short. the story was good, but i finished the game in 3.5 hours. not really worth $8. i think they should've made it a game that you can buy at the store, and had them put all the side stories together into one. and maybe have it for the DS instead.
I wish they make a FF6 remake for NDS or 3DS. A sequel would be a disaster (sorry if I ofended you) because of the spectacular ending the original had.

Wait, why did it show Izayoi at the end? She's not important; just one of Edge's four ninja. She has about as much to do with the main plot as Leonora or Harley. You think they'd replace her with someone more important, like Rydia or Edge. This wasn't an early development trailer or anything, so I don't see how they could make this mistake.

@magnusLordN Yes, so true. I actually prefer older graphics, not just 2-D, but 3-D aswell. Graphics in newer games are amazing, no question, but to me, it dosen't feel like a "game" anymore. Older graphics just have that charm that requires a little imagination which adds to the feeling. It's more like playing a movie nowadays, but thats just me. So I'm glad to see that Square took a visit back to the 2-D era with this one, it's a nice touch.
@magnusLordN I definitely agree, but only to a point. While there are many other aspects to a game that make it great, poor graphics / cinematography can take a fantastic game and turn it into a steaming pile of crap. Likewise, an oterwise overall good game can be totally brought into the next level with the addition of a little graphics power-up. Graphics are not the only thing to a great game, but they certainly can't be ignored either.

I wish they make a FF6 remake for NDS or 3DS. A sequel would be a disaster (sorry if I ofended you) because of the spectacular ending the original had.

@magnusLordN If you meen a sequal to FF6 I wouldnt know. Never finished that one. I do agree a remake of it would be cool though. Hell they outa be remaking FF1 - 6. I know theyv been doing it on the NDS so far and thats cool. Be even better in my opinion to see what they could do using PS3 tech. Itd definetly help Playstation make more games for themselves, stead of shareing almost everything they make with 360.

Wait, why did it show Izayoi at the end? She's not important; just one of Edge's four ninja. She has about as much to do with the main plot as Leonora or Harley. You think they'd replace her with someone more important, like Rydia or Edge. This wasn't an early development trailer or anything, so I don't see how they could make this mistake.

@magnusLordN Yes, so true. I actually prefer older graphics, not just 2-D, but 3-D aswell. Graphics in newer games are amazing, no question, but to me, it dosen't feel like a "game" anymore. Older graphics just have that charm that requires a little imagination which adds to the feeling. It's more like playing a movie nowadays, but thats just me. So I'm glad to see that Square took a visit back to the 2-D era with this one, it's a nice touch.

@magnusLordN I definitely agree, but only to a point. While there are many other aspects to a game that make it great, poor graphics / cinematography can take a fantastic game and turn it into a steaming pile of crap. Likewise, an oterwise overall good game can be totally brought into the next level with the addition of a little graphics power-up. Graphics are not the only thing to a great game, but they certainly can't be ignored either.

Anyways. They should focus on ff15. for one reason, ff14 is shit. You have to pay to play. lol if u have to pay for the game and then pay to subscribe it's not worth it.

Wants this to be on the DS, but then it should be all storys in one cartridge. Not that i have to buy them seperatly like on the wii, i am a big fan of FF 4. I´ve beaten FF4 on snes 4 times and FF4 on GBA 3 times. And soon enough i´ve beaten it on my DS 1 time. That´s why i want it to be on DS to so i don´t need to get a wii to get every single final fantasy... Have beaten a lot of them, four and ten is my favourites.
