this was filmed with a panasonic hvx200 with a Century Xtreme Fisheye. pretty standard set up for skateboard filmmaking now.

Yeah I agree...and a lot of people over-use them. You should only use them for lines, and some special shots. Everyone is using them for everything now a days it kind of makes it a worse quality.

im like 99.9% sure he said it was a new lens who wouldn't want to break in a new fisheye!? haha but i'd have to agree stick to lines and on the stair shots with a fisheye. but im pretty sure they have an HVX! they are insane and with the fisheye for them they cost a fuckton! but i've seen like everyone with VXs filming fully flared dunno bout mixin footage VX and HVX but still.

Lakai is pretty rich, they wanted Fully Flared to be the best, so they got the best equipment. It turned out so well though, definitely worth it.

It's kind of disturbing reading all these kids comments about "how this sucks" or "its not as good as Cheese and Crackers". Skateboarding isn't about being better than someone else. It's not like the 100m dash where everyone runs the same for the same goals. Skating is an expression, that's why everyone has their own style.

This is vid is a great example of two guys (who we all know are amazing) just having some fun. If you can't understand that...you really shouldn't be skating.
