I think, instead of a sequel that destroyed the purpose of T2 they should've made a future/prequel in which shows the war in the year 2029 and showed John Connor's adventure destroying Skynet before John, Sarah, and the Terminator changed it. Arnold's T2 residue and Mostow's decent direction allow for some stunning sequences, but one finds himself still yearning for Cameron's humanism. Thus, T3 walks upright in the shadow of T2 w/o fully emerging from it.

I like the music that starts to play at 0:37 (would appreciate it if someone could tell me its name). In terms of action, I think it's debatable. The fight between the T-800 and T-1000 really wasn't that impressive. Seemed to be a lot more power and brutality in the 850/TX fight. I suppose that MIGHT be because the 850 is stronger than the 800 & the T-X stronger than the 1000. T2 had more emotional impact than T3. T-X should have stopped toying with the T-850 at some point and really mangled it.

Schwarzenegger is the Terminator, but he's done and there's nothing that can bring him back. But the Terminator is a robot, as long as they have the robot then it's Terminator. And FYI Salvation is not a fan film.

T3 was okay, but there were serious problems:

1. The actor playing John Connor was, IMO, not the best choice. Maybe it was how John Connor was written, idk, but it didn't work.

2. I felt no emotional bond between John and the T101. A bond was formed in T2, why couldn't there be a new bond formed in this one?

3. The TX. Too gimmicky even by movie standards, and it was a cheap excuse to see a nude woman at the beginning of the movie.

Let's face it: this movie just simply is not the same kind of a masterpiece as the first two were. (I think this has everything to do with Jonathan Mostow being it's director instead of James Cameron.) But to be honest, I DON'T think this is a BAD movie (like many people seem to).
