It's young women like Neda and her sister, that We of the Coalition Forces need to go in and stop these extremist freaks in their tracks. That was one of the reasons I put on the uniform of the United States.
the iranian people are not so stupid the west want them to be !!! they don´t believe in the CHEAP WESTERN PROPAGANDA ABOUT THE CUTE / GOLDEN LIFE IN WESTERN COUNTRIES, they know very well that most of the people in western countries are dirt-poor, earn and must live from pretty few money and that there is no real democracy in this (western) countries !!!
The best strategy would be to murder to Mousav's wife and this will reinvigorate the young Iranians to take the streets again. The demonstrations needs a new impetus. The reformists are just the same scum bags as Ahmadijenad. If any Iranian thinks there are good people in this regime then they are fools. Kill a leading reformist so people can blame the Baijis and then rock n roll. Destroy the Islamic Republic. No compromise.
The end does NOT justify the means for any person of morals.
Anyways there is no need to murder anyone and blame it on the regime - they murder enough people for political reasons in the political prisons.
The reason people are not revolting is: They do not want to die. The masses are martyrs only in exceptional situations. It takes people of the strongest will and courage. Average people want to live, that is understandable.
You are an idealist or very naive. There has been no resistance in history without violence and that applies to South Africa and India. The use of violence and isolation is the only way these terrorists will go. Its your choice: Use of force on a mass scale against the regime or slow economic sanctions which will still kill people regardless and the regime will stay for even longer. If you feel sorry for Mousavi: Just remember he was the unelected president under khomeini's watch.
NO, just resistance does not need to kill innocent people. The noble resistance in the country shown in this video (Austria and Germany) did not have to murder innocents and blame it on the Nazis. The Nazis did that themselves. And no I am not a pacifist. I believe Nazi traitors or in Iran Islamist regime criminals - oppressors and murderers - can and should be killed if no other mean is available.
P.S. Since when was Mousavi, his ugly wife and Karoubi innocent? You are aware that Mousavi resided over the largest number of executions during Khomeini's reign of evil. Didn't see him resign in protest or rattle on about human rights. If you were a REAL Iranian - you would not care less whether he had a bullet lodged in between his eyes. His life is worthless. This is my point. Use him like a pawn in a chess game or a toilet to clean your shit. Not important at all.
The noble resistance against the Mullah regime in the 1980s did not have to kill innocents. It fought the RIGHT people, just like the Nazi resistance fought the right people. You are falsifying history by making generalizations on how allegedly just and heroic resistance movements kill innocents to blame it on their oppressor. The oppressor commits enough crimes anyway, and the innocent's life is taken only by the criminals, not be the resisting heroes. Everything else is astray.

If the bloody regime pulls out all the stops to defeat the protesters through murdering most of them, the protest will become violent. The Iranian people with clandestine help from the west will launch more attacks on their corrupt government. They will have been too much bad blood for some of the protesters. If the peacefull coup does'nt work I can see this happening, and I hope the protesters kick their asses. We are with the Iranian people!!
According to the Press Freedom Index for 2007, Iran ranked 166th out of 169 nations. Only three other countries - Eritrea, North Korea and Turkmenistan - had more restrictions on news media freedom than Iran.

Campaign offices of an Iranian presidential candidate were burnt down on Monday night, as it was revealed that a former Iranian president narrowly escaped an assassination attempt last week in the run-up to the elections.
One of the intended passengers for a domestic Iranian flight on which a bomb was found on Saturday was former Iranian president Mohammad Khatami, the Iranian daily Sarmayeh reported on Monday.
She says My sister died, because she wanted to feel the Wind in her hair, my sister died because she loved ffreedom, my sister died, because she had young dreams, wanted to be beloved and have a child, she wanted to live her own life, etc

No war on Iran. Wake up and THINK. Do YOU want ANOTHER IRAQ style war??! There will be a lot more than 4000 Americans killed this time. Gas at $30 a gallon. Nuclear exchange and contamination of oilfields to make sure it stays that way. Massive debt, probably TRIPLE the already huge amount we have now! This means we will have massive inflation - $50 for a loaf of bread. Can't afford it, maybe you can seek relief in a FEMA camp. THINK before you let the media TRICK you into another WAR!
Her death is a tragedy and I hope her death will not be in vain and that she not only becomes a symbol of this so needed revolution, but a symbol of all that is innocent with the true desire to become free. Long live the memory of Neda.
Good post coolly. You might tell numb nuts that Iran is in Asia. And tell the master of numb nuttery in farsi to bero jahanam. It is truly amazing how anyone can not take sides in something so black and white...good verses evil...kind sweet people being whacked while ghouls(mullahs) hide behind thugs with guns. You may also inform the limp wristed puke that Iranians have left by the millions and that most Iranians loathe the ruling clerics. This revolt may be squashed while the world watches...
This movement transcends politics, their demands are universal and the United States needs to take a stand with the people! No one is instigating Violence or whatever, but to not say anything because we want to have a dialogue with Iran over nukes is ludicrous...Iran is not interested, and never will be!
Please then enlighten us. I may not have an 'education' on the middle east but I am middle eastern who grew up in the middle east and lived first hand thru oppression and loss of freedom and fear of speaking up. President Obama not saying anything to the Iranian people for fear of being seen- the U.S as meddling in Iranian affairs is so naive and weak. The United States is demonized in Iran no matter what they say or do...Saturday's speech by the religious cleric is the biggest example.
I agree, usually when there is a war, America ALWAYS interferes. Whenever 2 nations are at war, America always shows them to stop and not tells them to stop. In this case, its a civil war. Maybe thats why Obama isn't taking action YET.
I can't believe they'd shoot someone who was protesting peacefully. I am rooting for the Iranian people. You all deserve freedom, and I hope you get it. I hope my country can help you get it.
That is the beauty of Freedom of Speech, it doesn't say "Freedom of intelligent Speech" ignorance loses some of its power when you put a light on it,,,,,,kind of like a bug :)
this has nothing to do with being Jewish. You people can come up with the most ridiculous crap ever. From now on think before posting some irrelevant remark like this and prooving to everbody just how ignorant you are to the world around you.
If you're looking for support from Obama you are looking in the wrong direction.. He is a pansy and always has been. Comander in Chief? He is supposed to be powerful, but the world sees him as weak!!!
You have absolutely no education on the middle east do you? You have no knowledge of our involvement or the UK's involvement in Iran, do you? This is why McCain would've made a horrible horrible president. This isn't communist Russia. We had a dialogue with Gorbachev. We DON'T have a dialogue with Iran. President Obama staying low on this is exactly what he should do. I do agree with the congressional resolution passed though. Seriously though, get an education on this before commenting.
Never Stop Fighting! We did it in Beirut 5 years ago, you can do it too!
Whether you agree with him, like him or hate him, George W. Bush's stand with the Lebanese people during the Cedar revolution made a difference! Gave us hope that the world is with us, watching and supporting us!
IRAN- Never give up! Keep Fighting, Stand up for your rights and demand your freedom!
AMEN. Put politics aside and stand for something! I stand with the Iranians in their quest for freedom and legitimate government leaders. Too bad my President is PC on this matter. But we, the people, who are really the representatives of this country, do back you, pray for you, and would, if we could, fight with you. Donna from GA, USA....
You've got absolutely NO idea the consequences of the President of the United States getting involved with this. This is VERY VERY different than communist Russia. To understand why he can not take sides is to have a knowledge of our history in the middle east. Now, I do support the Presidents actions and at the same time support congressional resolution to support the Irani people.
The killing of Neda is very sad. I don't know why Pres Obama insist on keeping the door open with the regime for talks about Iran's nuclear ambition. Our Pres. should take a strong stance and condemn the regime for the killing of the innocent and peaceful. The blood is on the Supreme leader's hands, which he will not be able to wash off before the eyes of God. It is not divine law to kill, nor is it divine law to kill believers. I pray for Iran and Neda. God bless her soul.
Support from the USA is not what the protesters are asking for, and it is the last thing that they need. What they need is for the movement to go mainstream inside Iran, and if the Iranian people perceive that the USA is attempting to orchestrate a coup, that will NEVER happen.
My wife is from Iran, Ive been to Iran. I have a niece that just came here from Iran. Young Iranians have wanted the support of the US for many years. They know they cannot do it alone because of the killing methods of the current Regime.
I'm not saying the U.S. should act with the military. But our Pres should show stronger support for Young Iranians. Yes, the young Iranians are the only ones that can make this happen. But the world should show support. "The world is watching" and add that people will be held accountable in criminal trials in a court consisting of the world of nations.
Of course Young Iranians are ready for change in Tehran, but not necessarily in other parts of the country. And good old "Great Satan" isn't going to be able to convince the rural Iranians that they need to rise up. The young people might be able to bring them over to their side, though.
This is from a blog. someone called "hannah" has written this. and i dont think the owner of that blog is her real sister. She was calling her as her "sister".
"She longed after one day being able to say, 'I am Iranian' with her head held up high.
"She longed after one day falling in love with a man with a [inaudible] haircut, giving birth to a daugter, singing lullabies at her cradle, or to plait her child's long hair.
"My sister died because she was not allowed to live like a human being; my sister died because injustice would not end; my sister died because she loved life so much, and my sister died because..
It's young women like Neda and her sister, that We of the Coalition Forces need to go in and stop these extremist freaks in their tracks. That was one of the reasons I put on the uniform of the United States.

In the name of whom created us in freedom
Dedicated to Neda
Neda, we saw the steps you took towards freedom
We saw your closed mouth that portrayed a thousand words
We saw your opened eyes in the last moments of your life which gazed upon this life
Yes, our beautiful Neda, the world heard your silenced voice
And you flew away with your white wings.
Rest in Peace

"I am here in order to tell you that my sister was very modest [in her dreams].
"She longed - just like me - after one day feeling the wind in her hair, and just like me she loved poems by Farukh (?), a Persian poet, and she...

"... longed for freedom and equality.
