Which pub is this?!? I want to be there! I was jumping out of my chair at work though, as I'm going to have to do today as well. That's not Finnigans is it?
@Arsenalistaa no i didnt... football, soccer, whats the fucken difference.. and dont go saying only americans call is soccer, Soccer is a British made word, they called is Football soccer before anyone.. look up the info!!
@LooneyM3 I don't need to look up any info, man. "Soccer" is British, but what matters is who uses that term most frequently, no? And just to clarify "whats the fucken difference". The "fucken difference" is that soccer is just a game, whereas football is a whole culture.
At the beginning, the guy in the front (with the beard in a dark tee shirt) goes through despair, anticipation and total joy in less than 2 seconds. That's exactly how I felt too.
Fuck you. During the 2002 I would come home after a full day at work, shower, go to sleep at 7pm, wake up at 2am, hit the bar at 3am just in time for the start of the match in Korea, then go directly to work.
People adapt and overcome for the World Cup. If you have to take a day off then so be it.
@trippinpokeballs Yea, but this is 9:30 a.m. The average work hours are 9-5 so this is a much different scenario. I was not calling anyone out, I was honestly wondering if most people call in to work for these games.
@Shabutie97 i know a lot of ppl took sick time (myself included), but i live in nyc, and apparently we're the only ones who care about the WC. us and these guys here in springfield.
Whoa! People that watch other stuff beside NASCAR and the news?! Who are these race of people that live around me?

Does nobody work these days? How can that many people be in a bar in the morning on a Wednesday? Everyone took off?
Shabutie97 1 year ago
@Shabutie97 There are a LOT more videos like this one, with more fans in the bars. IDK either, lol.
