@liamsscott look at the video again, the ref stops the match because the guy taps on the opponent's head. acceptable sign to stop the match. he tapped out. both shoulders have to be on the ground, only one was so there was no pin. squeezing the vascular arteries is a choke, and not necessary for a pin.

@liamsscott a match has and will stop if one of the wrestlers asks it to be stopped.When you can't talk, its tapping on the opponent or even ground. I was almost called on it cause I didn't know it could happen.The ref asked me if I wanted to stop. I shook my head no. Its a precaution in case someone is hurt but it isn't obvious. Either way, BOTH shoulders of the wrestler were not on the ground.One is higher than the other.Plus pin is from lifting the chin to the chest;not squeezing blood vessel

And the headlock is a common pin because it works. If you're stuck in it, you better hope it's the end of a period cause that's your main chance for getting out of it. I once got caught in it 30 seconds into a period. The headlock ended when the period ended.

That was a head lock, if he dropped hisback more in the other guys chest and then pulled tighter, and then arched his back more it would of been more efficient?

The reversal of that move from standing is, when he was going to the mat from his opponite, his opponite most likely threw either a left or right hook under his the other guys arm, with his other arm he threw a straight behind his neck, then twisted his body and fell to the mat, looking like htey did in the video and to get out of that
