I know! The companions during Davie's era were a little... flat, I think in terms of character... or something like that. Whatever it is, the companions in Moffat's time are much better. Not to belittle Davies, though, I just prefer Moffat.
@LatabaLion I completely disagree! Donna was an amazing character as was Rose and I think Adelaide Brook was good as well so don't dis them OK. This era is basically a different companion with the same story-line. and also Moffat doesn't even care about Doctor Who he is stretching series 7 over two years because of his "precious little Sherlock!"
@jayhdrwhofan12 its hardly two years its starting this september and then in april 2013, so only a few stop complaining his said after series 7 part 2, in the same year we r getting a full series 8
Okay, seriously, I agree. Donna, Rose and Adelaide were great. Nobody should be badmouthing them. But I would ask that you please don't badmouth Sherlock either. It's really really good. Why can't Moffat have other projects? We wouldn't want to limit his brilliance. I would recommend you watch Sherlock before you judge it. Because, honestly Sherlock and Doctor Who tie for first place in my favorite shows.
Oh, Tennant, why did you have to go away? You were the BEST! The BEST! You were fantastic! Sure, Smith's great, too, but he just can't achieve what Tennant's swan song achieved. I actually shed a tear there. And, best of all, Tennant (Ten, lol) loved Harry Potter! He didn't joke about the 7th book! It's THAT good!
@BoboThePedoBear in the new series i like 10 a slight bit more than 9 or 11. 9 had the powerful feel that the doctor has and the fear but lacked the fun in the quirkiness. 11 was very quirky fun and could bestow a lot of power but lacked the oomph that made daleks, cybermen and etc run (imo). David was the complete mixture of quirky, fun, funny, scary, and powerful
@nolanMF I prefer Matt Smith. But I won't go around telling everyone he is the best. I will tell people that I prefer him over the others. Please don't state your opinion as fact.
@TheStormyPie im not saying Matt Smith is bad, im just saying david tennant had something that matt smith doesnt have. Matt smith is a GREAT actor and really funny' but David Tennant was funny but also brought a certain seriousness to it all and it was just the perfect balance.
@nolanMF Agreed. Tennant's Doctor has such depth of character, he's so real! The way he goes from laughing to ranting to saving the world and back to having a good time is great to watch. Plus, you can really tell that every single death weighs on him, which is a crucial part of the Doctor's character. #10 forever!
@nolanMF Each Regeneration of the Doctor is a reaction to the last experiences of the Doctor. At least it is that way with the new series. Rose happened to 9, 10 came out emotional from the help she gave him. Then people started dying constantly around him. Companions would leave and put him all alone. Then 11. He is built to not want to remember it all. He doesn't want to deal with it. You can see it clear as day. So his eccentric nature took over.
@BSUGrad You just see glimpses of what made him sad before. When he criticizes the TARDIS for bringing up his former companions in Let's Kill Hitler. He doesn't want to go back and remember. And that's why I like Smith.
I love both 10 and 11. in fact all doctors.
because they are one. :)

I like both Doctors equally (10 +11) but, to be honest, you have got to love the quirkiness of 10 and the sciency fun in 11 XD
