this proves that a gifted puppeteer need not hide behind a screen because even in plain view they fade into the background behind the character they are bringing to life.

@nightmarenet It is whats called a "Table Top Puppet" loosely based on the Japanese Banraku . The articulted body is manipulated by little handles on the back , head and joints .

Sometimes you find something absolutely brilliant on YouTube and this is one of them. Tom had me in stitches. He is alive and that can only be down to the two great puppeteers. Is there any more of Tom Thumb anywhere? 5* from me
