WMG and YouTube: Because the Fair Use Policy doesn't count when WMG say it doesn't. When it's being used in videos that people are actually making money from, fair enough. But when it's a non-profit video, it's just free advertising. But they want their pride, not to use logic. I suppose it's because of download websites taking their precious money away. I really hate it when people try to restrict music. If you do, it's not art anymore, it's just like everything else, a product to be sold.

I download music the legal way. You know, without hacking into other peoples computers and hoping they have what I want. Torrents and peer to peer networks are good sources of legal file downloads, and they're a hell of a lot easier than doing things the illegal way.

I could pirate music, but hey, who would buy stuff they could download themselves?

The terminology the media industry uses is outright laughable. Problem is they get people to believe things mean something they don't.

@anon540 Personally, I didn't even download it myself. I just give people the opportunity. The album is like 5 dollars on amazon, the cd, very cheap, not just a download. But when they do this crap where they take the audio off of videos, I don't care about money, because Belushi is dead, Akroyd is obviously not getting any, so they probably just got a bad deal with the record company. The money goes to the record company, and they still screw over people. Just shows what capitalism represents.
