As far the book being for all ages, there are plenty of people who would disagree with that. Note the freakout over the opening scene in which a family is murdered by a knife wielding guy chasing a baby through the night. Not appropriate for anyone in second grade and under. While I loved this one, as a librarian I have to warn people about the initial violence. P&P&Zombies is totally a YA book - Megan just reviewed it over at 5AwesomeYAFans. Mary Shelley's Frankenstein is a natural segue :-)
I always believe parents should check books before handing them to their children, but I also dont think literature should be censored. Kids are a lot smarter than we give them credit for. I'm sure second graders have seen a lot worse in movies, on the news and so on. And if you think P&P&Z is good for a review, I will review it! :) As for Frankenstein, I believe I reviewed that one already. One of my favorites.
