If I listen to Beyonce, I'll automatically know it's her because no matter what she is singing, her depth is thin (in a good way... that's just her tone). They both are great singers but in two different categories. The way I see it, no one is better than the other.
Every artist has a distinctive voice and style, B is no exception. But there are several songs B has done where you have to actually listen in to figure out who's singing the song.

i think both are great but i do think that after jennifer sang beyonce tried to make her voice more powerful like jennifer when she should have just kept it the way she was singing it because while jennifer has a powerful voice she doesnt have as much control over hers as beyonce does

I agree, following someone like Jennifer can be tough. You can tell she gave her all, but she needs some more power for this song. When Beyonce sings in a lower register, she exudes richness and power. In the upper register, she voice gets thinner, ya know? But considering the odds, she did well. J Hud killed it though.

Beyonce hasnt got so rich tone in her voice, but her singing technique is so good that she hides it perfectly. I would feel terrified to sing with a power house like Jennifer, but Bee doesent lose at her a bit. She oversung here, but still it was great, her vibrato is perfect and she has a total control of it too. And the most amazing thing about her is that I have NEVER heard her sing out of tune,not once,and Ive watched hundreds of Bee live videos, ha ha, she is a passionate perfectionist..
