  • What a putz. Nothing is actually changing. Last year the Supreme Court ruled the term 'navigable waterways' in the CWA did NOT give regulators the right to govern anything beyond what a boat will fit into. Effectively nullifying the entire wetland protection apparatus of the federal government that has evolved over recent decades. So Congress is resurrecting those protections in more explicit language.

If we KNOW he's lying about this, what else is he lying about?

  • Glenn beck is so far off the reservation its ridiculous. The fact that people actually listen to his paranoid delusions is beyond me. I'm sure that he is laughing about the gullibility of his fan base all the way to the bank.

  • I just love how he never even brings up WHY they're going to "control" expanded types of waters. It's just "the feds are going to control!" and he doesn't even discuss the reasons behind this change to the act. Way to go, analyst.

  • this retard has no knowledge of the environmental impacts of polluting waterways. Pollutants infiltrate groundwater through waterways (not just navigable ones) and do not decompose in aquifers for decades. Preventing industries and farmers from dumping their toxic waste into our waterways prevents it from ending up in our drinking water!

    moron

  • He even says he doesnt know what these terms are. Glenn Beck is so closed minded and ignorant. He should just shut up. Water is too important to leave up to judges and private companies who want to dump sewage into drinking water.

  • well if we dont regulte aquifers people can pollute and destroy water supplies
