Thom Yorke is distinctly boring which is the way he wants it. He wants to be recognised for his art. His lyrics are very sparse and ambiguous so to say he provides the most meaningful and intellectual observations about wider society is untrue. Great albums but scary cult following. He is not L Ron Hubbard. There are other musicians of worth and note out there! Yes he had the guts to dictate experimentation with the band but albums like Hail to the Theif were very patchy and inferior Prev. work.
