This is a perfect example of why the top part of the breaking point on the bow section of the actual ship is all mangled and the bottom is a clean break. The two halves pushed themselves back together at the top. When she sank, what was holding her together was the bottom section of the hull and didnt break completely until the flooded bow tried pulling the still bouyant stern down.

Dude you should use a camera that can go up to like 60 frames per seconds or even more. So you could slow your footage at some moments where it would have looked more real like at 0:34. But awesome videos by the way.

Interesting stuff this. It explains why the metal on the Titanic along the edges of the split hull are bent. You can clearly see that when the Hull splits it comes back together again thereby bending and twisting the metal along the edges.Experts said that the stern elevated to as much as 30 degrees but looks more like 15 to me.

What if you were to place a small breakaway blow-off valve full of 'fullers earth' or talc so the trapped air in the stern blows it out in a dramatic fashion? I guess it depends on the pressure inside the stern though.

@TK42138 That's not a bad idea at all! Sadly, the stern is so well-sealed, we don't have access to its interior anymore. But there may be other ways to replicate the spray, like dry ice.

@rockerojuan No; we created this video to see if we could replicate the Titanic's breakup with a special-effects model under several different conditions. These high-angle videos were filmed first; we intend to film some low-angle breakup videos in the future. These videos are not scientific; we created them because we have a fascination with the ship's breakup and sinking and felt the desire to replicate these events.
