  • Prop not connected to the engine I guess, still kinda cool.

  • @MrUllersater Yeah, the prop is run via a hydraulic reduction drive to have it running at a much safer speed for safety, and to avoid problems running a full speed running gear on a replica such as this (torque effect etc)

  • @hunterxf382 Aha, thanks for the info. Impressive work I must say, to build a full scale replica and install a Meteor engine in it.. Respect !

  • It wasn't running its engine is better than that!

  • @TheGreenKnightVII I can assure you it WAS running that day! Misfires present have apparently been cured since this Video was shot last May

  • book it for birday parties or weddings. LOL

  • @datzfast : It's a brilliant thing to have at such events - certainly a talking point ;)

  • very well you caught me, i would not be watching if i didnt love the airplane.

  • 1/1.... and stunning!

  • Is this plane 1/1 scale or scaled down? Thanks for posting!!!

  • @frequentfiler this is a full scale replica using a lot of original parts in the cockpit, and a Meteor tank engine (derivative of the Merlin) so truely authentic sound....
