  • i always thought this was a billy idol song... haha

  • @Yourmindandme: Me, too.

  • 3 people think it's Dana Carvey singing.

  • always a good song oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-ohh.

  • @Hot80s AMEN!

  • 3 people are still crying over a breakup

  • Ha - I remember this song from high school in the 80's... always loved it more than "jeopardy". And then I hear it in the movie Let Me In last night. I'm happy that good music is still getting some exposure in these modern days of mostly awful music.

  • They don't write em like this anymore...

  • Why would Justin Beiber get on here and click "Dislike" three times? This is klassik rock, JB needs to stop being such a "Betty!" - Muaa haa haa ha haaaaaa ;-)

  • this song is in LET ME IN, because of this i've been searching for it

  • 3 people were attacked by abby.

  • Cant believe i've never heard this song until i watched the film 'Let me in' recently.Im bloody well 41 years old and this fantastic track has managed to slip past my musical radar until then! I am in the UK though so i suppose thats an excuse!

  • Keep the Faith, people!!

  • They don't write comments like that anymore.

  • Its true, "they just don't write like that anymore". I always loved this song. Thanks for posting it! :-)

  • This song ROCKS!

I used to take to speakers and put them right beside my ears and crank this song up. Awesome!

  • this song probably has the best like-dislike ratio on youtube!

  • @MrTooflyforawhiteguy Excellent analysis. Sadly the number of dislikes has recently risen to 3

  • You my friend, are a truly good person, you have most certainly snapped me out of it and ill be keeping my chin up from here on, thanks mate i really mean it, your sure to have good karma coming your way.

Haha, your right im not American, im from Tasmania,Australia.

  • although i agree they dont make music like they used to, there is still lots of good new music its just not the popular music anymore, your just looking in the wrong places, dont listen to commercial radio stations, for instance if your in Australia listen to triple j, im pretty sure you will be blown away by the amount of good original music that is out there.

  • THIS IS ONE DAMN STRONG SONG, THE BEAT IS CONSTANT AND SONGS LIKE THIS SOUNDS BETTER THEN THAT WETBACK SHIT OR THAT RAPCRAP

  • Great song.........One hit wonders- gotta love 'em- cause they just don't write like that anymore...no no uh uh lol

  • yeah that movie was awesome I was watching Let Me In when I was in jail fucked up on acid it tripped me right the fuck out, classic old school rock song!

  • I am 55 years old, and I suppose this song applies to songs for ppl of ALL generations. Keep an open mind, and make music, ANY music a big part of your life!!! Then pass it on to the next generation. The circle of music!!! Yea, I like that!! MUSTANG SALLY!!! PEACE!

  • I thought Billy Idol sung this song, it sounds just like him

  • @cgj531 yeah, now that you say it, yeah! :)

  • heard this first in BEAUTIFUL GIRLS MOVIE

  • He's SOOOOO right.........they DON'T write em like that anymore!!!!

    RAP SUCKS..SUCKS...SUCKS...S U C K S!!

  • Waiting for Let Me In 2

  • @Magyar9Andras I loved Let Me In but to carry it out like a series would kill it! Like that Twilight and True Blood crap.

  • i have to agree with greg kihn they dont make women like they used to both my gf's left me 1 in junior year and the other the summer b4 senior year . fer awhile i wanted to end it all but i got up dusted myself off and now have a thing fer a girl i used to work with

  • @Multi80sfan Girls breaking up with you in high school is no reason to even THINK about ending it bro. Girls come and go. You only get one life.

  • @Triumph72

yeah like i said i just pulled myself up out of the "pit" i was in and now i have a crush on i girl i worked wit.

a smokin hot brunette with sexy green eyes

  • @Triumph72 what about girls breaking up with you at 28 after 7 years?

  • @zeemonkeyman1 Yeah? What about it? A reason to kill yourself? Over a girl? At the age of 28? Do you know how young 28 is and how much life you have in front of you? You're kidding I hope, correct? Or are you really out of your mind slightly? Slightly was being polite, severely is more like it.

  • @Triumph72 I am a bit out of my mind at the moment to tell you the truth, but your stern reply has done a lot to snap me out of it, thanks mate, seriousely i needed something like that.

  • @zeemonkeyman1 That is so not the reaction I was expecting but such a pleasant surprise! I'm very glad what I said was helpful. I am really not a stern person, I'm usually very laid-back. But in this case I felt compelled to give you the words you needed to hear. 28 is so so young. I'm 39 and I still feel young. Maybe it took a straight-talking New Yorker to help snap you out of it. I'm sure you're hurting right now but time heals everything and you will recover and be better for it!

  • @zeemonkeyman1 Btw I know that people who use the term "mate" are almost always not American. Usually

Americans will say man, or bro or dude or whatever lol. I'm curious to know where you are from. Anyway, good luck, keep your chin up, put a smile on your face and go out and face the world, because it's not so bad. Greetings from New York, mate! :)

  • I love this song, and like the others said " Let me in" did bring me here, but I have heard this songs years ago, and now I can't get it out of head! Thanks for the post Harbetman! Now I can stop going crazy trying to find this! Kym

  • LET ME IN

  • i like all kinds of music too. old country and old rock,Rock music back then was better then todays rock same as country. THE SOUND IS AWSOME!!

  • oldies are the BEST.

  • @SuperBud1997

OUCH!!! I have kids older than this song. Oldies???Good thing I have a GREAT love & appreciation of ALL music, new and old. I hope you do too!!! ~PEACE OUT~ Mustang Sally

  • Just love this - one of the ultimate party songs!! Brings back memories ... ah - takes more than just a memory to make me cry!

  • Ahhh!! My Favorite Version!! YESS!!! YESSSSS!!!!!

  • Uh uh uh uh uh uh uh UH.

  • great job of syncing the audio to an older video clip, well done! And thanks for posting.

  • best song ever :]

  • brainwashed motherfuckers.

  • Haven't heard this song in years, and out of the blue, at 5am I start singing it. These classics seriously must embed themselves into the very fibers of your brain.

  • if it took a movie to bring you here , then your just another Zombified Asshole. Songs are Great without Some Fuckin "Movie" . Fuck Hollywood.

  • @ENEMENCIO123VISION

I disagree. This song, without the movie context, would be significantly less impressive (for me).

  • @SturmMedik thats only because your e FUCKIN ZOMIFIED MORON. turn off the TV ASSHOLE. lol

  • @ENEMENCIO123VISION No memories of the song brought me here

  • @ENEMENCIO123VISION What the fuck does that even mean?

If not for seeing Let Me In, I wouldn't have discovered this great song. What's your problem with that?

  • @JohnZackarias well, probably because i was there when this song was on MTV and Radio way way back in the 80s. but, modern movies have a rotten way of ruining great songs by adding them to Shitty Ass Movies. thats all.

  • @ENEMENCIO123VISION The song is the same damn song. It wasn't altered at all, so how was it ruined? Don't be such a a grumpy old man.

  • @JohnZackarias im not old at all. everyone says i look at least 23 years of age.

  • @ENEMENCIO123VISION But you're acting like a bitter old man.

  • @JohnZackarias and your acting like a bitter young kid.

  • @ENEMENCIO123VISION What's that supposed to mean?

I'm not the one who's angry because people discover a song through movies. Idiot.

  • @ENEMENCIO123VISION You can't spell properly and you're acting like a fucking conceited holier-than-thou hipster with a superiority complex.

  • @CaptainPengu and your acting like a fuckin TAMPON! A Bloody One.

  • @ENEMENCIO123VISION Lol. You fucking people are morons. I would LOVE for my favourite bands to get the kind of exposure that being in a movie brings to a band. There is absolutely nothing wrong with people discovering music in movies. So what if they hadn't heard the song outside of the movie? It just means the band is gaining popularity through different ways.

  • @EvilestEvil your favorite fucking bands SUCK thats why those bitches aint in the movies. hahahaha

  • @ENEMENCIO123VISION Ah. Now the truth comes out. You were most definitely not around while these pussy-ass faggots were on MTV. I'll bet you're not even in high school yet you fucking retard.

  • thumbs up if "house of the devil" brought you here

  • The first second always makes me think Don't Fear the Reaper is coming on.

  • Best song of 1981

  • uh uh uh, uh uh uh uh uhhhh.

  • What the F... is "Let me In"??

  • @damaster59 a movie.

  • here's a blast from the past!!!!

  • Yeah !!!!!!!!

  • Boy I sure miss the days when grownups could make pop music that people wanted to listen to.

  • Uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh.

  • Every time my band does this song, people still go nuts, the dance floor gets packed, and everybody sings along. This tune is such a classic!

  • uh uh uh, uh uh uh uh uhhhh.

  • some pretty lame editing on the drums

  • thumbs up if the movie "Let Me In" is a craptastic, unnecessary remake of a superior film called "Let The Right One In"!!!

  • @kcmet79 i am glad they did a remake of let the right one in because it needed the american version. Both movies are awesome, but i think the american version is better. america rules!!

  • @kcmet79

I disagree. The original fails to achieve the same relationship between the two children that the remake is able to.

  • cool song...

  • this is the bees knees!!!!!!

  • Fantastic song.

  • thumbs up if you think this is the kittens tittens

  • Searched this song after hearing it on Let Me In. Fantastic movie, best vampire movie I've seen to date.

I'm 20, grew up mostly hearing music form the late 1990's, but the 80's music is still so much better. Far better than todays music.

  • Crazy ratings (deservedly!)... 99.75% positive

  • 2 people think they DO write 'em like that anymore.

  • thumbs up if the movie "Let Me In" brought you hererrr!

  • @akacpkiller21 I just paused the movie to find this song.

  • @notliving46 ditto. :-)

  • @akacpkiller21 I paused the movie Let Me In and i find the song on google searching 'is the same old song with a melancholic sound'' :)))

  • @akacpkiller21 lol.... i just watched the movie.... i got hooked to the song.

  • @akacpkiller21 - Yes! I just saw Let Me In Saturday (08/20/2011) and loved it and heard this song on it; it's not on the soundtrack, though. At first I thought it was a Billy Idol song.

  • @akacpkiller21 you are so right!! That movie was awesome and brought me here!!

  • @akacpkiller21 ha ha...just watched that yesterday.

  • @akacpkiller21 the whole reason i wanted to find it. my dad and i got in an argument during the movie lastnight he said it was the ramones or the clash, but i knew it wasn't. i'm only 17 and i miss 80's music. some of the gretest music man

  • @akacpkiller21 Hell yeahh!!!

  • As much of DICK that Greg was when I met him... I still think this is one of the best written songs ever.

  • @vanbillsing I met Greg after a concert in Salt Lake City in the early 80's and thought he was a great guy!!!

  • Wow, this song is epic. 80's music isn't all bad after all

  • For anyone who likes old rock like this and any hip-hop, there is an artist out there named "Yelawolf" from Alabama that did a remake of this song. He made an entire album (with his own lyrics, of course, to a hip-hop effect) of his favorite late 70's and 80's rock songs. This song...in his own interpretation... is called "Gone." Look it up...

  • @tjrtherocksponge I can so relate to your comment my mother would have been 67 in aug. And she was responsable for most of my musical influence! God bless her!!

  • Picture it....Dodge in the late 2000's... I'm happening and I find myself on the dance floor hittin' it to this song.... I look up and the singer is singing to me... I find myself dancing to the look in his eyes... 100 percent true story... It was a truly sexified moment...

  • this is the music they need to bring back not keep coming up with this ''new'' rap shit. its pretty mutch som one beating on a key board making up shit and poeple raping to it. this song has some actual talent.

  • They just don't...

  • @russeli1941 :'(

  • wow music like this you can't find no more.

  • music these days dont ride any more >.<
