  • I played this game when I was about 9 years old. 16 years later the game is still hard! Finished it though...

  • Andross disliket this video

  • @PsychoKrazyTime The gameplay in the original Star Fox is much better than Star Fox 64 imo

  • @impurekind i agree and not to mention the original star fox has a way better soundtrack then star fox 64 to me the music of star fox 64 isnt as epic and dense as the original star fox soundtrack

  • @impurekind oh yeah i also think star fox 64 was a way overated star fox game compare to the snes original

  • @impurekind i also think that the original star fox was more harder then star fox 64

  • 26:22 holy shit pilot flew right at the screen

  • During the Andross fight I realized some of the same sounds match FZero. 8D

  • Nintendo: trying things that pushed their hardware to the limits

  • After watching this, I feel old now....

  • Starfox 64 might have more polygons and textures and all... but so does Superman 64.

Does that make it the better game?

  • @TechnoEstate No, the fact that the gameplay is much better makes it the better game. You're bringing up something that is 100% irrelevant.

  • @PsychoKrazyTime

When has this discussion been about gameplay though?

  • Is this in REAL 3D? Wow!

  • Man, this is one of my favorite series. But I'm slightly disappointed at Nintendo for not putting this on the Wii's Virtual Console but only put the N64 one on it. I want to know why they're having problems re-releasing this one.

  • No matter how old this game is it never ages in my memory as the best game when I was 4 years old. Amazing....

  • 4ever STARFOX,good,very good game! NINTENDO YEAH.....

  • 1 viewer sucked at starfox as a kid.

  • hate to say it but Star Fox 64 blows this polygon soup out of the water

  • @TechnoDevotee Four times the processing power the N64 has over the Super Nintendo; it should be expected of Star Fox 64 to have better graphics and possibly be better than the original. What's your point?

  • Good play through terrible score though.

  • The mission's beginning is always fucking epic...

  • no one would even care if i commit suicide i hate the trolls

  • @vanillasupremes1 Omg! Your really gonna kill yourself! Cant Wait to take your Channel Bitch!!! =D

  • my channel is being "over trolled" commiting suicide

  • Never Give Up!Always Trust Your Insticts!

  • I remeber the day I bought this miraculous game second handed....It was definitel y one of my best purchases ever!

  • Someday we might get a StarFox game as epic as this one. =)

  • @androidsychoshocker So you say Star Fox Assault wasn't epic?

BTW, great show, almost like watching a TV series =)

  • @SonicTheHedgehog17 Oh it was epic, just not to the extent this one was. =)

  • @androidsychoshocker We can only hope this was the best by far.

  • Do a barrel roll!

  • Very sweet and cute video, i liked and of course thumbs up .

  • It's fantastic, I remember ............

  • jeez 2 hours?

  • @stcynsn1

  • I have the same game, but it's named "Star Wing" in Europe

  • @olesib

  • This game had the coolest soundtrack

  • great game bought bac some good memories of it =)

  • I love these slower walkthroughs; much more suspense

    Thanks for posting!

  • awesome!!

  • When Falco says: "Mind your own buisness, Fox!" Fox should reply: "It's okay, Falco. You're welcome anyway!"

  • It'd be nice if they reused the music from this game for newer Starfox games.

  • El segundo juego mas increible que jugué en snes.

  • I listened to this whilst at work.

It's wonderful to have in the background. Bit of nostalgia, the occasional 'Bur bur bur wing damaged' from Falco. 'Twin bastard' once in a while.

Plus the music is simply great :)

Thanks a lot for the upload.

  • only froggy one could missed the boost button in the tunnel at 1.30!

  • BWUH BWUH BWUH BWUH!

  • What is that thing at 26:24?

Is that an enemy pilot blown out of his ship? I never noticed that before.

  • :\

Your scores aren't something to expect from walkthrough like this.

    I usually get 100% both level 1 and 2 and 99% and sometimes 100% on Level 3.

  • At first Titania looked more like Fichina.

I didn't know there were amebas in Sector Y.

A killer whale?! In outer space?!!

What's with the freaky faces on some of those rocks?

    Fortuna's got catchy music.

The Great Commander's cool. As a ship, not a robot.

But was that REALLY Andross or not?

Have you seen the Black Hole or the Warp Zone? The Warp zone's got a Slot Machine. |:)

  • All I remember about this game was thinking Falco was a dick.

  • best 99 cents i've spent

  • I LOVE the character voices! :P

  • can you do assault, command, and adventures

  • I used to have this game and never got to the ending. I traded it to Game & Play and used the credit to get Super Mario All Stars and finally play some of the "lost" levels that was only available in Japan.

  • I think me fave level in that level on the easy route is the space armada

  • I dont mean to sound strange or anything, but does anyone find it a little weird that Fox has to shoot at the boss' crotch at 1:56:00 ?

  • I never liked the N64 versions of Star Fox compared to the SNES. I think the N64 ones look just plain cheap and crappy. Like they were just trying to make money with no effort put into the game itself. A game is not better just because it's more powerful. SNES starfox is awesome.

  • @x7sx5 Nostalgia ain't all it's cracked up to be, eh? I've played both versions back in the day, and the N64 version was far from just "more powerful". The characters had voices, there were more of them, the levels were just plain better, and the story itself was more fleshed-out (for a video game, that is). Not only that, but Star Fox 64 was true 3D, using fully-rendered and textured models and landscapes where appropriate.

  • @GoodwoodAlpha Well...yeah, man. Isn't that what you would expect from a good sequel?

Let's not knock this game for the classic it is, though. Everything about this game is top notch. Great soundtrack, top notch level design, memorable characters, and some excellent boss fights.

Random: this is a good game to play back-to-back with Axelay.

  • @spideymayne Nostalgia just ain't what it used to be, eh? Yeah, I liked the original Star Fox (even if I was never very good at it) but Star Fox 64 was just better in every respect, thanks to the progression of technology. Part of that reason it's better, IMHO, is that instead of trying to make the 64-bit version into a sequel, they remade the original, making the whole story better in the process.

Of course, Star Fox was never that deep to begin with... ;-)

  • @spideymayne I agree with you. Star Fox SNES had better music, level design, and bosses overall. SF64 just had better graphics and control/framerate.

  • Back then graphics like this were considered absolutely amazing, jawdropping.

Even today this classic is still fun to play. IMO, none of the other Starfox's released to date beat the original SNES games (Starfox and the unreleased Starfox 2).

They don't make games awesome like this anymore ^_^

  • i agree with you completely. The snes games were like no other.

  • This game used a special chip called the Super FX to do all the 3D Rotation/scaling effects.

  • Wow, I Used to have one game like this one

  • I keep forgetting this is 16- Bit!

    Its such a Great game

anybody who has not played this should buy it its that great!

  • Well, I guess this shows once again that design just weighs more than bits.

  • Same is true now as it is then....

  • The voices is freaking funny.

  • Nice job using the annotations to skip levels :-)

  • Agreed.

  • Starfox 2 = PURE AWESOMENESSAGE.

  • yeah too bad it was never finished....

  • omg!! the music is so good!!

  • Ah, the original StarFox! Never did get to play it myself. I always loved StarFox 64, and thought it the best in the series. Let's watch this one...

  • The original was great. You should see to get your hands on it, i recommend it greatly.

  • i dunno, i liked the first few levels but i could never make it past that. I thought the snes one was way too difficult so i never beat it :(

  • I must admit i never beat route 3. The first route was usually a piece of cake, the second took some practice. But i never made it past Blade Barrier. Nonetheless, it's a grat game and worth playing.

  • ricky lylat wars is done!!!!

  • That game is so cool.

  • When did this game come?

  • i think 1992 i dont know perhaps 1993 i dontr know

  • love this game
