The knife with the silver bade is real. I've had one since the 80's when I was in the British army. It was used for everything from cutting roots to acting as a weight to throw D10 wire over tall trees. I still have it and it's just as good; still sharp and very sturdy, although the stone has gone.
Guys, full tang knives are better for hacking or batoning, but a JUNGLE knife won´t need that. If you hack a tree in the jungle , you´ll find yourself in the trouble of set humid wood on fire, you better seek for branches, very often found dry hanging form threes; start a fire then put some big branches to dry by the bonfire. in a" tactical" ocassion you will avoid heavy smoke(from humid wood) or you will withdraw attention to you.
@sample2501 Mate, the blade won´t break from the grip so easily, just don´t use it as an axe. Do not stick it in and try moving it from side to side(most knives would break), if apply force to the knife while it´s deeply sticked , do it up & down
The JKIII is way more solid than any folding knife. My Brother has an JKIII since 2004, he loves it. Enjoy your piece. Greeting from Argentina.
There is some talk that the quality of Aitor knives has decreased since the sale of the company. I have bought and sold these knives pre and post company sale and the quality is fine. Furthermore, this Jungle King knife might look like a toy but it is a useful outdoor tool. I have used one for six years until I lost it hunting.
@buttchug69er NOOOOOO! mate it´s a jungle knife, it has a serrated side to saw some thick brunches, easier to dry than big wood rods, that are usually a pain in the arse whe we try to start a fire( the wider the wood, the more water it retains)once the fire is on, then you can dry big wood by the fire, before you throw it in. It would break when used improperly, but is a well designed piece. For batoning or hacking (desert or pine wood) a full tang would be better,
I love the skinner multitool knife...I would buy one just for it , but a real survivor knife must be full tang....
The original model is said to be a real piece of quality due to the outstanding steel composition , but this one looks ok...after all is not a Katana.
AITOR-PIELCU Knives aren't imitations. PIELCU bought Aitor some years ago, altough knives are still manufactured as the old ones if lesser endings. But same durability.
no tienes ni idea de lo que dices Skjarbul, Aitor fue adquirida por Pielcu si, pero la calidad de los aitor pielcu son una puta basura comparandolos con los antiguos aitor, los acabados son pesimos, imitaciones baratas
I wonder how many people watching this know how to use a compass, or fish hooks , or where anywhere is in the World , most dont, and most cant cook at home never mind in the Wild.
this is an AITOR-PIELCU knife not REAL aitor jungle king 2 cause AITOR closed at the end of 90's. This version is pure shit in my opinion...bad imitation of old aitor knife.
FUCK! I passed one of these guys up for a stupid fucking folder! im a stupid son of a beech!
