Finally a new suikoden and not on the DS, not sure why they did that with Tierkreis.

I love the series so much I still got ALL the games 1-5 and tactics.

Wish they would continue with the series were it left off, a lot of un-explained things like other runes, sindar and other countries mentioned etc.

Hopefully this will kick start a Suikoden 6 very very soon!!!!!

Finally a new suikoden!!! I love suikoden so much...This game is gonna be awesome but i wish they would just make a Suikoden VI on ps3, maybe if this gets enough sales they might make a Suikoden VI :D

All Suikoden games (all 6 of them) have 108 characters each - some being the same only older or younger versions of themselves. About 70% of them are actually playable while others end up being shopkeepers at your castle.

This actually is a Chinese story.....just like the Dynasty Warriors, written by Chinese but famous as the Japanese game

The original Suikoden's story was largely based off of a popular Chinese hero story. Suikoden II's protagonist "Riou"s character design was inspired by Sun Wukong - or the Monkey King, as many may know him and his tale.

I'm absolutely stoked about this release. It's been much too long since Konami released a Suikoden title, and considering Tierkreis was not set in the main universe, it didn't feel as rewarding to play or complete.

I'm glad the series isn't dead, but this is sounding like it'll follow in the steps of Tierkreis. I'm not terribly disappointed, because Tierkreis was a great game in its own right. I just hope that this gets localized and that the localization is actually good this time (decent voice acting, no more Engrish, and no removing voice acting from the JPN version).

@zrifepsych I seriously had to stare at your comment for over a minute to make sure I wasn't misreading it. How can you find Suikoden to be the most boring RPG ever? It's the most epic series ever created! A RPG should be all about the story and the plot before anything else, and even then, Suikoden has awesome game play. What other RPG got 3 different style of battle, going from regular turn base to real time strategy? That have 6 party member battle? Fuse magic? Combo attack?
