Just those suits and their unison in the moves the voices *swoons ive listened to this about 50x now and i cant help listenin to it and when they sang it 50 yrs later in 2008 it was still amazing with more matured voices. theyre just gorgeous and ppl say im born in the wrong year...im 17 and it feels like ive followed the osmonds forever =)

I got to see Alan, Merrill, Jay, Donny & Jimmy last night at the Davis Family History Fireside. It was so awesome! Wayne was ill & Marie wasn't able to attend, but the others were there & did an awesome job!
lyn, I've had a very hard year as well, loosing Dad, my hubby fell a couple of weeks ago and has a concussion and will be out of work for awhile , thankfully it wasn't very serious, bad enough though. 2catangle...you are so right, it was a total love fest at the concerts and hotels. None of the drugs,drinking that people who were into the rock groups did. We were good,clean teens so in love with our favorite Osmond.
I love watching The Osmonds videos, these bring back so many great memories for me. Listening to their albums for hours on end, couldn't wait for the next issue of Tiger Beat or 16 for new pictures to put on my bedroom walls. Their concerts were the awesome. My best friend and I were able to meet the entire family before one of their concerts and even in the few minutes we were with them it was evident they were a very close and loving family just as they are today.
This was always ALWAYS my favorite song on "The Proud One" album and one of my favorite Osmond songs period. Would have been great to be included on some of their Best Of releases.
Merrill's voice is outstanding. I was in love with his voice long before I knew it was him. I was only nine back then. His gospel music is so spirit filled. "The Anchor Holds" speaks for itself if you haven't heard it.

My friends and I would raise money for the Omsond Foundation and every year got to go backstage in Allentown to give it to the family.1 time, theyonly allowed me back and Mr. O saw I was upset he called Donny over to talk to me to distract me.We talked,but then I shocked both of them by politely saying it wasn't fair and I was leaving,and I walked out the gate.luckily things got straightened out and all 4 of us were all able to come backstage that night can't believe I did that, but it worked.

Tried to put it on YouTube, couldn't work out how to do it. Sorry. Its my fav. version of the song. Had a mate relay it on to cd from my LP. I'll try again to get it on.

I think this is my fav Os song - the close harmonies are endlessly interesting - even after more than 30 years of hearing it, I always find the complications of it rewarding. The album sleeve, with them sitting around the jukebox - Oh, they all look so very handsome. Esp Merrill, of course!

Yes 'esther' I think this is my favourite Osmond song too - its the harmonies that do it - it drags you back to listen over and over again. And of course Merrill is such sexalicious 'eye candy' I can watch his expressive face for hours - excellent stuff.
