Dude it really does make a difference. I'm a piston head and so I also tune the cars... I achieved like 44 seconds around daytona with the vette only by tuning the gears for ideal rpm band. I'm currently learning lots about suspensions, so soon I'll be able to tune them too. =) cheers on the great setup, I can really tell that you solved that car's understeer characteristics.
