There are some good bands for sure (but I would rather look at the back with bands like Massacra or Crusher even if there's a new impulse in deathmetal that touch France too) but I was talking about our society when I said "pathetic" because I think "we" are killing culture and open-mindedness so that's difficult to have a strong "network" and community in those kind of movement because people are too awareless and "numb" to be in touch or attract by things like that.

I think Deeds, Spawn of possession, Decrepit birth and Disavowed all have this same awesome style of being supremely technical yet creating memorable and, dare I say it, catchy songs, not to mention with an inhuman level of prescision and tightness. There are loads of other bands like Decapitated, Necrophagist, Origin, etc. that are the same but those first 4 always remind me of eachother. Hailz.
