this dumb Yell company?? lumme they are so pathetic in this day and age. They won't remove a listing from their database from a company I was unfortunate to inherit the phone number
@MJNSEIFER No - I do, I love the ad, love a bit of trance music, and don't agree with the massive negativity about it being an Ad campaign. Just seeing all the little record shops they've found, and him going around with his massive cans on, it's really nicely done.
good old..interweb new thingy that has listings but i cant figure out how to bloody work the new fagled thing ooops ive pressed something or other i dont think i was meanta press..grandaaaaadddd!
I've got to laugh at this, because with him wearing that hat, it's just what I picture Matt Cardell looking like in 10 years or more and can see him going round the record stores asking for one of his records
I like this ad. It's quite faithful to the original, and the guy has exactly the right mannerisms down for someone who may have enjoyed too much of the excesses of the rave scene around ninety...(pause) two. Brilliant!
He's a spangle how the fuck do you lose your own tune and he struggles to tell the guy his name. He must of liked the disco biscuits a bit too much back in the day and as a result he's now a single dad with one tune to his name and dosen't know his arse from his elbow. S43
@PaulDavidScott It's a real documentary about an ex-DJ too stupid to keep originals from his beloved (and obviously failed) music career and so had to traipse around London, searching out his sad past for days on end. OK, thanks to Yell and a Smartphone, he did find what he was looking for, but unfortunately was knocked down and killed by a bus on his way to the record shop holding the disc for him. Sad.
This ad has the same colossal mistake as the JR Hartlet original. When you've just asked for a song by Day V Lately and the other guy asks your name, your next sentence should begin, "ACTUALLY, ..."
This is desperate stuff from a desperate company. Looks like they have filmed quite a few shots in the same shop from a different angle. Clearly strapped for cash
How did that scruffy git get so far in life?? A (relatively) swanky North London abode, a daughter AND an iPhone?? Proof if ever were needed that running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music is actually a pretty good life choice..
Shows how out of date the people who made this advert are a) You can't find any record shops b) You need to go online c) That's because they are all in Jersey/Guernsey.
