No lo puedo creer... Desde que la descubri en youtube no puedo dejar de verla... Ella es muy hermosa... Creo que estoy enamorado... Damas con ese perfil ya no hay...
Is she GORGEOUS or what !! I am pretending this is the first time I ever saw her. Mostly because ever time I do her singing and her shear hotness blows me away. Why can't the 2000's have singers like this and not the everyone sounds the same or hip hop crap.
@dlamere2 Unless you know something the rest of us don't, you are living in a dream. Everybody gets old. Next time put a period at the end of your sentence.
The Palisades (another pseudonym for The Cookies) recorded a tune called "Make The Night A Little Longer" in 1963. Having heard this Susan Maughan song first, I assumed it was the Palisades song was the same, but it is totally different. This is a great performance.
This video (as well as the T.A.M.I. Show ) are available from the video beat website which is a great source for all of the teen movies from the 50s and 60s. I can watch her over and over again. I like the "wall of sound" arranging on this...shades of Phil Spector.....
I adore Susan her songs are so great, compare her to other girl group singers and all her songs are very independant as opposed to the usual whes did our love go format of girl singers then. She always had a message of I may be down now but not for long.
I'm an American fock n' roll fan who just recently dsicovered Susan Maughan. She is phenomenal. I love this song, especially. Glad to have discovered this wonderful singer.
I think it would really be cool if they released the soundtrack to this same movie. Think of all the great songs on here! I have watched the entire thing over and over a hundred times, I love this music! I am only 43, but I seem to have a connection to this stuff, I don't know why.
WOW!!! Thanks for posting. Rememer this from the 60s when I was a kid. Don't even know or really ever doubt that the Black Hip Hop rap crap will ever leave this kind of lasting memory.
@villanova5215 No disrespect. I tend to think that everyone tends to like the music from their youth, and as we get older, we may not feel the same about popular music. This song is a bit before my time, but I am not feeling this one. I think the lady is pretty, but the music and rhythm is not my favorite , but then again, I grew up with mainly gospel and r&b. I respect your opinion, but having grown up in the hip hop era, I have found that for me, some of the songs bring great memories!
@kpitt1204, I'm 18, and I definitely love it, I think it's more about a difference of tastes! :D with music nowadays I'd love to have lived in the 1960s! Cheers!
@JPandCo I like a lot of 60s music also. I am glad to have the poortunity to hear it. After a second listen, I admit that I like it a little better than the initial time I heard it. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with me! Peace
SHE IS AMAZING !!!!!!!!!!! I HAVE NEVER EVER HEARD ANYONE WITH SUCH A BEAUTIFUL VOICE :d CAN'T STOP LISTENING TO THIS TUNE :d THANK YOU SO MUCH WHO EVER POSTED THIS :):):)
I've been big into Pop Gear for the longest of times... known as GoGo Mania way back here on local TV, it was always a highlight to catch this film when they would show it around 12:00 or 1:00am. Susan Maughan is absolute dynamite with "Make Him Mine". A fine song and delivered in fine form by this wonderful artist. Five stars for sure! -- -Wally
Brill love it.I sang Bobby`s girl n other Susan Maughan songs with my bruv Trev when i was about 10 years old.Love that other place by susan too .Wicked.x x x
If you think she's gorgeous, see how she stacks up against the other beauties in my playlist, "Beautiful Women Singing," on my YouTube channel. Does Susan hold her own against the likes of Shania, Alizee, Britney, Olivia, Rita, and Crystal? You decide.
I think of this angel and smile; then think of Lady Gaga and want to throw up!
