  • Good job! Enjoyed it and I am Mac McClintock. (Not the same one).

  • Again, really good thanks!!

  • Thanks for all the thanks oldtimerspal...

  • i JUST ordered my UA20 Uke!! Do you like yours? I see youve added a personal touch, it looks great.

  • Yes, it is a very pleasant sounding ukulele...

You'll enjoy it I am sure.

  • Are you playing with it plugged in or by itself? Because every review i've read on the applause uke say that it is quiet when unplugged, similar to an electric guitar... i just ordered one, and im hoping that it has some noticeable sound when unplugged. please get back to me asap.

  • My Applause uke is not electric, so the sound you hear is how it sounds unplugged.

  • by now you prolly got it, but i play one as well, it is quietish but really not that bad at all...

  • fuck chain letters

  • nice!

I'm gonna go learn it now.

    Alex...

  • Great JOB

    Tough one to do!

  • Yayyy!!!! Applause, Applause (no pun intended!) I love this song and your take on it. Who can't enjoy a lake of stew and of whiskey too? -scratches chin and wonders if my guitar got wet and dried out too fast would it turn into a ukelele?-

  • That's a fantastic shirt.

  • I second that emotion--quite a candy-stripe!

  • Hello

    Lew...

Your priceless shirt reminds me of the garb that The Kingston Trio used to be attired in.

    Peace,

    Stewball

  • Hello

    Lew...

You've brought back many warm and happy memories of my childhood when Pop would play this ditty from his old Burl Ives 78rpm. You've performed an acoustically-pure and unadulterated and very pleasing rendition...which is greatly appreciated.

    Peace,

    Stewball

p.s. Peter Paul and Mary have never performed this as a part of their shows and have never recorded it either.;)

  • Oh jeez... You're right... I was thinking of Puff the Magic Dragon.... Oh well, my comments regarding Puff remain as written.

  • Maybe "Puff" wouldn't seem so saccharine if you bought into the cannabinoid-imagery theory. I offer one hint: "J(ackie) Paper"....

Still, as innocent children, I and my sisters and cousins often warbled along, and even sniffled a bit at the end....

  • Super love it 5 stars

  • Thank you, Dixie Rose.
