it makes perfect sense. the yellow hammer is the alabama state bird, and rammer jammer was put in during the mid 1900's because it rhymes. sort of like ole miss's hotty totty. it's not rocket science. and if we ever beat an upper tier sec team (one of the tigers, georgia, tennessee, or florida) then we will sing it regardless of how many points we win by. and many people from other conferences have said that they think this cheer is badass, so we don't really care what your biased self thinks.
