so after i install ram into my maccbook pro could i use the old sticks and put them in my older mac book? or does it not work like that are they diffrent sizes.. mac book has 2 gig. and the pro has 4 soon to be 8gig..
Awesome video. I am thinking of upgrading my 15" 2.4Ghz i5 MBP, and I was wondering is it really worth it upgrading my ram? I there much of a performance boost?
@justdanielson24 Hi there, you'll see a performance boost depending on your general usage. If you open many resource utilising applications at once then a ram upgrade would be great for you - as more applications can run stably with more ram . If you are simply looking for an increase in speed of your computers boot time, and being about to open applications faster then an upgrade to an SSD would be better suited to you.
nice video, where can i buy 8gb ram or my macbook pro and how much would it cost?

@dacodester Depends on what generation your Macbook and Macbook Pro are, you would need to find that out before I can make any suggestions.
