I need help, I was looking for some settings on the internet and on some of them scoop or treble is set to 5:30 or 6 o'clock, but it is impossible to turn the knob that much. Can anyone help me with this one? Thanks
Amigão, eu tenho um pedal desses, e não consigo timbra-lo, vc pode me dar alguma dica pra eu conseguri segar nessas distorções pesadas e definidas pra thrash????? To usando o peavey bandit!!!! valeu...
Hey will this pedal sound good on a 15 watt spider 4 amp,i have the epiphone les paul custom, i want to know if the line 6 is better or metal zone from boss.I really need this a pedal because i am kinda bored with the distortion the line 6 has and i must say that after watching this vid the pedal definatly is very heavy sounding. Also if i get this pedal will i get a tone to play ride the lightning songs from metallica! i need to know!
@siegfried4245 Dude, I don´t know if the Uber Metal will sounds fine with the Spider 4, but I believe so... and yes, the Uber Metal is way better than Metal Zone... about the Ride the Lightning tone, I don´t if the Uber Metal is the best choice, but it´s a good choice, for sure... the Uber Metal sounds more modern, more like the Black Album, in some cases... cheers!!!
@bagera93 Dude, the setting that i called "My Official Setting" is very similar to the setting that I used in the other video....
... about the sharp tone and the gain of Uber Metal, this pedal has many positive points, specially in PULVERIZE mode... and the pickups helps a lot, for sure... the EMGs are always great... \m/
@cantor2145 Man, I don´t know if understood you about the mix thing... however, the Uber Metal is very good for live... I did many gigs with it and it always sounded very fine, heavy, specially for some modern metal stuff, like Machine Head. Cheers!
@cantor2145 Man, the Uber Metal has a good definition, wich can make the peolpe hear what are you playing... of course, it depends how you set the pedal... mids are very important, for exemple... I made many gigs and I always have good words about the tone of my guitar.... cheers!
@miltonmorales thx man). Sorry for my bad english, i want to say, that i play in metal band, and i want, that people can hear my guitar, for example, when we play gig in small club)
I have had this pedal for a while, Im not sure if its my setup that doesn't sound good. or what. I have an epiphone zak wylde guitar, and a Marshall MG30FX amp. im not sure, but im not getting the good sound i want.
Dude, it can be your setup, or maybe your settings... give more shots for the Uber Metal before you sold it... sometimes it's just time to get a good tone... cheers!!!
Man, with cranked up settings, have some buzz, but minus than in other pedals, cause it has a noise gate to do a great job with the buzz... in my opinion, the Uber Metal doesnt´s sound muffled, even when crancked up...
Maybe choosing METAL you can make some good tones for Offspring or Nirvana, but, in my opinion, for these bands I´ll never choose the Uber Metal... there are better pedals for this things... try the Marshall Jackhammer... it´s a good pedal... ;]
Dude, sorry, but I don´t how to change the batteries, cause I never used batteries with this. About the video, I can´t do one, cause I selled the Uber Metal recently. Cheers!!!
Well, for me the Uber Metal has a better distortion than most of the POD´s distortions... stills a digital distortion, but better, just it... cheers!!!
HELL YEAH!!!i just got my uber metal distrtion pedal, and man this is the very best pedal out there!, clean, crisp, very tight, compressed chunky sound, most other distortion pedals sound like buzzy fake, over processed crap!....
Hard to say "wich is the best pedal" for this bands... to me, a BOSS Metal Zone, with the Monte Allums´ Sustania Tri-Gain Plus MOD, is great, especially because the OPA2134PA Burr Brown Chip makes the MT-2 a "machine of definition", wich is necessary to stuffs like "lead-riffs-all-the-time" that has in the songs of this bands... hehehe
... look for my videos, cause you´ll find some good of MT-2 Sustania Tri-Gain Plus MOD... ;]
Man, I usually play my solos with the setting that I call in video as official... however, try something with METAL option... I think it´s the best option for solos like Children of Bodom... cheers!!!
This thing is great, I got it used and it sounds good through my no-name brand type (starter) guitar and 15w amp!
In my opinion, the Metal setting sucks, while the Pulverize is pretty good. My favourite is definitely the Insane setting, because of the low end boost I get.
I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for high gain (Slipknot), big mid scoops (Pantera), an early Metallica tone, and everything in between!
You'll need 10min to understand how the Scoop and Mids affect each other.
I just recently bought the digitech hardwire metal pedal and I have to say that I'm going to have to get one of these pedals as well. I like the distortion flavors of the uber metal brings out. keep on grinding!
Dude, I don´t know if the Uber Metal will match well with yours guitars... I think it will... Do you have played before with some POD? If yes, and yours guitars sounds good, probably they will match well too with Uber Metal... cheers!!!
but like, my band was gunna use a line 6 amp with the insane channel for recording(the only reason we didnt was cuz the amp wasnt there). which is why i was asking about the pedal. im probably gunna buy it lol
Well, the INSANE is an option of Uber Metal... my favorite one is the PULVERIZE, but the INSANE is good too... so, my friend, if you like the INSANE channel of Line6´s amps, you will like the Uber Metal, no doubt... ;]
Dude, first of all, to get the Randy´s sound (closer, in fact)it´s necessary some kind of equipment, like an amp. that sounds like a Marshall, or a guitar that sounds like a Les Paul... it´s hard to do this with a strato, for example...
... about pedal, there are some good option... Wylde OD, or Distortion II (Randy used it a lot) or Distortion III... Sansamp GT2 is great too...
I like very much the Uber Metal, but I agree, sounds a little bit too tiny... yesterday I bought a monte allums tri-gain PLUS mod to try with the MT-2... I hope that makes my MT-2 sounds real good... do you have this MOD? What do you think? Is it better than Keeley MOD? Cheers!!!
Line 6 is pretty good.. but still sounds too tinny and digital, IMO... the metal muff is probably the best metal pedal... or perhaps a boss mt-2 (but you MUST try monte allums tri-gain mod!)
Basically, I got Line 6 Flextone II for 150 bucks used, it's in basically perfect condition got it from a friend who was moving and had no room for it. I look up this amp worth like 450 and everyone loves it... Line 6 is the shit apparently.
Thanks for these settings they're very nice metal. Good playing

can u use this pedal for thrash like megadeth slayer or metallica???

i think this pedal is digitally mixed with an octaver and/or a phaser effect. thats why u get the thickiest distortion.
