  • I need help, I was looking for some settings on the internet and on some of them scoop or treble is set to 5:30 or 6 o'clock, but it is impossible to turn the knob that much. Can anyone help me with this one? Thanks

  • What is your tuning?

  • @ymeii C# with DROP B... \m/

  • that sounds very awsome =D brute metal 666

To usando o peavey bandit!!!! valeu...

  • good

  • Hey will this pedal sound good on a 15 watt spider 4 amp,i have the epiphone les paul custom, i want to know if the line 6 is better or metal zone from boss.I really need this a pedal because i am kinda bored with the distortion the line 6 has and i must say that after watching this vid the pedal definatly is very heavy sounding. Also if i get this pedal will i get a tone to play ride the lightning songs from metallica! i need to know!

  • @siegfried4245 Dude, I don´t know if the Uber Metal will sounds fine with the Spider 4, but I believe so... and yes, the Uber Metal is way better than Metal Zone... about the Ride the Lightning tone, I don´t if the Uber Metal is the best choice, but it´s a good choice, for sure... the Uber Metal sounds more modern, more like the Black Album, in some cases... cheers!!!

  • question how do you get get the tone so sharp since you almost have no Drive ? in the settings or am i misstaking Drive for Gain ?

  • @bagera93 Dude, the setting that i called "My Official Setting" is very similar to the setting that I used in the other video....

... about the sharp tone and the gain of Uber Metal, this pedal has many positive points, specially in PULVERIZE mode... and the pickups helps a lot, for sure... the EMGs are always great... \m/

  • @miltonmorales

thanks mate ^^ will be buying the pedal soon ;)

  • hi man. how this pedal sounds in mix? Is it good for "live" playing?

  • @cantor2145 Man, I don´t know if understood you about the mix thing... however, the Uber Metal is very good for live... I did many gigs with it and it always sounded very fine, heavy, specially for some modern metal stuff, like Machine Head. Cheers!

  • Comment removed

  • @cantor2145 Man, the Uber Metal has a good definition, wich can make the peolpe hear what are you playing... of course, it depends how you set the pedal... mids are very important, for exemple... I made many gigs and I always have good words about the tone of my guitar.... cheers!

  • @miltonmorales thx man). Sorry for my bad english, i want to say, that i play in metal band, and i want, that people can hear my guitar, for example, when we play gig in small club)

  • I have had this pedal for a while, Im not sure if its my setup that doesn't sound good. or what. I have an epiphone zak wylde guitar, and a Marshall MG30FX amp. im not sure, but im not getting the good sound i want.

  • Dude, it can be your setup, or maybe your settings... give more shots for the Uber Metal before you sold it... sometimes it's just time to get a good tone... cheers!!!

  • can u use this pedal for thrash like megadeth slayer or metallica???

  • Yes, for sure... I think the Uber Metal's tone more modern than Megadeth and Slayer, but you can use, no doubts...

  • this or fullbore

  • This, for sure...

  • i think this pedal is digitally mixed with an octaver and/or a phaser effect. thats why u get the thickiest distortion.

  • is the insane setting just like it is on the line 6 amps?

  • I don´t know, dude... sorry... cheers!!!

  • ok whatever i'll buy it anyway : )

  • Dude, it´s a great pedal... for sure it´s a great choice for heavy stuff... ;]

  • does it have a buzz in the backround does it sound muffled when cranked up?

  • Man, with cranked up settings, have some buzz, but minus than in other pedals, cause it has a noise gate to do a great job with the buzz... in my opinion, the Uber Metal doesnt´s sound muffled, even when crancked up...

  • wat about like offspring or nirvana?

  • Maybe choosing METAL you can make some good tones for Offspring or Nirvana, but, in my opinion, for these bands I´ll never choose the Uber Metal... there are better pedals for this things... try the Marshall Jackhammer... it´s a good pedal... ;]

  • It seems to be very similar, yes.

  • can you get van halen tones with this?

  • Maybe setting in METAL, but for sure isn´t the best choice for VH stuff... cheers!

  • do u have a setting that is good for playing metallica

  • Dude, I don´t have a setting for Metallica... cheers!!!

  • hey pal i just got this pedal can you tell me how to open it up and change the battery or make a video showing me how to change it pleze ? thanks man

    -Martini prendergast

  • Dude, sorry, but I don´t how to change the batteries, cause I never used batteries with this. About the video, I can´t do one, cause I selled the Uber Metal recently. Cheers!!!

  • there are buttons beside the pedal and you squeeze them and open the pedal and the battery pack is in there

  • I have one of these and its the best pedal that I have ever played for metal-feels like playing thru an amp.

  • what do you think: boss metal core - boss metalzone - line 6 uber metal ? who wins?

  • For me, Uber Metal, for sure... however, the Metal Zone with the Monte Allum´s Sustania Tri-Gain PLUS is way better... that´s my tip for you... ;]

    Cheers!!!

  • Hey guys! I´ve got the impression that line6 dist. is very, well synthetic? is this pedal any different?

  • Well, for me the Uber Metal has a better distortion than most of the POD´s distortions... stills a digital distortion, but better, just it... cheers!!!

  • HELL YEAH!!!i just got my uber metal distrtion pedal, and man this is the very best pedal out there!, clean, crisp, very tight, compressed chunky sound, most other distortion pedals sound like buzzy fake, over processed crap!....

  • which is the best pedal to have a distortion like:

protest the hero, the human abstract, unearth, sky eats airplane...????

  • Hard to say "wich is the best pedal" for this bands... to me, a BOSS Metal Zone, with the Monte Allums´ Sustania Tri-Gain Plus MOD, is great, especially because the OPA2134PA Burr Brown Chip makes the MT-2 a "machine of definition", wich is necessary to stuffs like "lead-riffs-all-the-time" that has in the songs of this bands... hehehe

... look for my videos, cause you´ll find some good of MT-2 Sustania Tri-Gain Plus MOD... ;]

    Cheers!!!

  • Thanks man. helped alot! :D

  • dude.. do you know any settings good for soloing for this pedal.. solo's like children of bodom solo's.. please reply

  • Man, I usually play my solos with the setting that I call in video as official... however, try something with METAL option... I think it´s the best option for solos like Children of Bodom... cheers!!!

  • dude ur offical setting rocks i tried it out and keep it hope u dont mind. XD

  • No problems, man... \m/

    Cheers!!!

  • This thing is great, I got it used and it sounds good through my no-name brand type (starter) guitar and 15w amp!

In my opinion, the Metal setting sucks, while the Pulverize is pretty good. My favourite is definitely the Insane setting, because of the low end boost I get.

I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for high gain (Slipknot), big mid scoops (Pantera), an early Metallica tone, and everything in between!

You'll need 10min to understand how the Scoop and Mids affect each other.

  • I just recently bought the digitech hardwire metal pedal and I have to say that I'm going to have to get one of these pedals as well. I like the distortion flavors of the uber metal brings out. keep on grinding!

  • sounds fucking sweet as i have the line6 uber metal pedal myself.

i highly recomend it to anyone no matter what gear thier using i only have a jackson JS30DKT HARDTAIL Dinky with stock jackson humbuckers.

and a fender 15watt Frontman 15R and the diffrent styles of metal you can get out of the line6 uber metal is outstanding.

  • the stores near me probably dont sell this pedal, but like, would it be good to buy online? it sounds a lot better then what im rockin lol.

and would it match well with my guitars?

i use a slammer and an ibanez. slammer for more punk/ blues stuff and ibanez for everything else xD

  • Dude, I don´t know if the Uber Metal will match well with yours guitars... I think it will... Do you have played before with some POD? If yes, and yours guitars sounds good, probably they will match well too with Uber Metal... cheers!!!

  • i usually play metal stuff..

but like, my band was gunna use a line 6 amp with the insane channel for recording(the only reason we didnt was cuz the amp wasnt there). which is why i was asking about the pedal. im probably gunna buy it lol

  • Well, the INSANE is an option of Uber Metal... my favorite one is the PULVERIZE, but the INSANE is good too... so, my friend, if you like the INSANE channel of Line6´s amps, you will like the Uber Metal, no doubt... ;]

    Cheers!!!

  • lol ive heard sounds online, but i guess imma have to try it myself lol

  • No doubt about that, dude... ;]

  • Where did you get this? Online or at a store...?

  • Man, I bought in a store...

  • can you get the randy rhoads sound using this pedal?

  • In my opinion, no. I think the Uber Metal too heavy to Randy Roads stuff...

  • do you happen to know what pedal can get his sound? I've been trying to look for it for a long time but I'm sorta poor so yeah lol xD.

  • Dude, first of all, to get the Randy´s sound (closer, in fact)it´s necessary some kind of equipment, like an amp. that sounds like a Marshall, or a guitar that sounds like a Les Paul... it´s hard to do this with a strato, for example...

... about pedal, there are some good option... Wylde OD, or Distortion II (Randy used it a lot) or Distortion III... Sansamp GT2 is great too...

    Cheers...

  • So can this pedal get KSE and Trivium? Also is it too digital?

  • For sure, specially KSE, but you can get Trivium too... and it sounds digital as you can hear in the video... cheers!

(achei vc numa busca do pedal no mercado livre)

    Abraços!

  • so what amp you running that through?

  • It´s a Staner Kute25, from Brasil... cheers!

  • I like very much the Uber Metal, but I agree, sounds a little bit too tiny... yesterday I bought a monte allums tri-gain PLUS mod to try with the MT-2... I hope that makes my MT-2 sounds real good... do you have this MOD? What do you think? Is it better than Keeley MOD? Cheers!!!

  • Line 6 is pretty good.. but still sounds too tinny and digital, IMO... the metal muff is probably the best metal pedal... or perhaps a boss mt-2 (but you MUST try monte allums tri-gain mod!)

  • Basically, I got Line 6 Flextone II for 150 bucks used, it's in basically perfect condition got it from a friend who was moving and had no room for it. I look up this amp worth like 450 and everyone loves it... Line 6 is the shit apparently.

Thanks for these settings they're very nice metal. Good playing

  • Thanks, man... cheers!!!

  • Do you recomend the Uber Metal to play Metallica , Slayer and Iron Maiden ?

Recomiendas el pedal , tiene buen bass ?

  • Man, the Uber Metal is a great pedal. It has a good bass, no doubt, but it sounds more "modern metal", like Machine Head, Killswitch Engage and stuffs like that. Sure, you can play every metal thing with this, but the tone wasn´t like Metallica, Slayer or Maiden. Cheers!

  • the metal setting is closest to metallica, pulverize for slayer, insane or metal for iron maiden.

  • awesome tone

  • Thanks, man... ;]

  • Hey, Did you play that with just your guitar, uber, amp? Other vids of uber metal on you tube sounded either very computer or very high sounding.

I have EMG-81 too, I like your tone

  • Man, fist of all, thanks for your words about my tone...

... and you are right, I just used my guitar + Uber + a small solid state amp... ;]

    ... cheers!

  • hey man what guitar do you use?nice sound by the way.

  • Man, I have a japanse Jackson ATX with an EMG-81 in bridge... cheers!

  • Nice job. Your getting a pretty heavy tone out of that combo.

  • Thanks, man...

  • good sound i like it i have the same amp but i have a crappy guitar right now and my amp isnt that good :(
