  • Doesn't sound like Dylan.

  • @ThePhizz09 it is

  • @ThePhizz09 It's Johnny Cash and Bob Dylan.

  • @ThePhizz09 it is, he quit smoking and all for this cuz he looked up to Cash soo much..

  • these recording were done around the same time as Nashville skyline when Bob Dylan had quit smoking so his voice is a little softer and slightly higher pitch if you listen to Nashville skyline ( my favourite Bob dyaln album) you will defiantly know that Bob Dylan is doing the back up vocals in this recording

  • Muy buena ..........dos mostruos de la cancion !!!!

viva Johnny & Bob !! forever

  • wonderful...

  • This song lives on as if it always was. Its part of the everchanging trip of human consciousness reflecting itself upon physical linear reality through the evolution of culture, music, art, society, and the growing self-awareness of the human species.

  • divino.

  • my mum used to sing this to me ALL the time! its such a good song.

  • ME ENCANTA ESTA CANCIÓN.

  • i cant listen to this song without tearing up reminds me of my late father. miss you dad.

  • when gods meet

  • Bob Dylan i Johnny Cash w jednym kawałku.

    mózg rozjeb*ny.

  • My mom sang this to me as a child and I plan on singing it to my child one day, this song will live forever.

  • i thought it was just me, my grandparents used to sing the chorus of this to me and my brother

  • Grandpa liked this song RIP grandpa

  • I never realised how sad this song actually is. My mum also used to sing it to me and my siblings when we were little but only the chorus

  • this is the one song i always remember my mom singing to me as a child - neat to see that the same is true for others

  • You are my sunshine, my only sunshine You make me happy when skies are gray You'll never know dear, how much I love you Please don't take my sunshine away

I'll always love you and make you happy, If you will only say the same. But if you leave me and love another, You'll regret it all some day:

    [Chorus]

You told me once, dear, you really loved me And no one else could come between. But now you've left me and love another; You have shattered all of my dreams:

    [Chorus]

    In all my dreams, dear,

  • This song just reminds me of how much I love my dad, he always sung it to me when I was a kiddo. It has to be my favorite memory. Nicest song ever.

  • fuckin awesome

  • this songg really does give katys video that sad effect!!! trustt me

  • Katy just shows her respectation to Johny Cash so why do you are here and giving fucking comparision?

  • Katy Perry doesn't have anything on Dylan and Cash!

  • @MissUrsiela she has Cash on new song

  • My computer keeps freezing up right at 0:30 ! lol

  • If Katy brought you here, please Thumbs up ! :)

  • @MrYmen You know what Katy is like not even to Cash and Dylan knees.

    She just ruined Cash singing

    Sorry for my English

  • @theMrdicky Actually, the song made Katy's song more sadder. It gives off a great effect. I bet she respected Cash and Dylan so much that it gave her inspiration to make the song resurface and be recognized again. You won't even be here if you didn't look for it after watching Katy's vid.

  • just a wonderful song!!! i love this song!!!

  • This is great! Forever!

  • Thats a great version! This and Missippi John Hurts Version are the best. Give that other version a chance. It´s great!

  • This was my baby song. :)

  • i never had this sung to me as a kid, but i think i will sing it to my children :)

  • Not Bob Dylan...no chance

  • @mguentz11 That's Dylan singing in his natural singing voice...think "Lay Lady Lay"

  • @mguentz11 Haha. When I first heard his "country voice" that was my thought too. The man's a chameleon, constantly changing his style and voice. As someone else said, check out Lay Lady Lay or anything off the Nashville Skyline album.

  • My mom would sing this to me before she died, I told my girlfriend that and now she sings it to me....i feel like a baby again...

  • My Daddy used to sing me this song, after bed time stories, and before bedtime prayers. I'm a grown woman and married now. Him singing me this song every night is one of my best memories from my childhood...aside from countless hours of Dr. Seuss he would read me before bed. I hope to one day sing this to my future children, before they drift off to sleep, and I can carry on the tradition. I love you Pa! :)

  • My grandfather used to sing this song to me nd my sister nd we sang it to.him at his funeral...i love you papa! I miss you with each nd every passing day7

  • @sexidevil0493 i feel you loss my nan died and she used to always sing it to me.miss you nan hope your having a great time in heaven.

  • it seems everyone has had this sung to us as children

  • yeh! my mom Irene use to sing this to me too...when I was as young as I can remember (about 3)

  • Fake, this can't be Bob Dylan : there's no harmonica.

  • @CallMeDrFeelgood Please remember it is not a solo performance.

  • Never had heard the whole song before.

  • I"ve sang this to my son since he was a wee one, he"s 26 now and still loves the chorus and sings it with me xxoo

  • May u one day find peace K.K.N. u kno who u r... tell her we said happy bday. Seems like forever ago we sat there so much...

  • Oh my god, they are KINGS!

  • ryan dunn <3

  • and i love only her...

  • My mom sang this to me as a child, and now my fiance sings it to me as well. Going from her care, to his, I think I will dance to it with my mother at our wedding reception. Such an amazing song.

  • @SirAllYouNeedIsLove My mom always did as well, and, then I found this, I had to show it to her as fast as possible, it brought so many loving memories, the song also helped many through many of my early days, just amazing in general,

  • @residentevlidead Its funny. My mother sang this to me as well, and I read about 3 comments on a previous video saying almost the exact same things. I think it is safe to say, that the majority of our mothers sang this to us as children.

  • My mom sang it to me too when i was little.

  • AllYouNeedIsLove

I sang this to my granddaughter before and after she moved to the South. I never knew she would really be taken from me, but she was. It hurts so to hear this song now. When she was little and on the phone calling from Louisiana, shed say, "Sing Sunshine, Grandma." It brought tears to my eyes, then and now.

  • @michellegrovak how sweet :.....)

  • @SirAllYouNeedIsLove How i met your mother :))))))))))

  • @SirAllYouNeedIsLove That's sweet!

  • @SirAllYouNeedIsLove That is such a sweet story! (:

  • Bro-mance

  • Never heard these 2 together. Great upload.

    Ginnie

  • Gee.. i wonder wich one is Bob Dylan... lmao

  • on his own johnny is just too good, and on his own bobby is just too insperational, but together.... wow pure bliss

  • Beautiful cooperation and spell between two gods.

  • if anyone disliked this video i'd have to go off on a tangent [not really, opinions are entitled and such] O.O happy to see everybody likes it thus far ^.^

  • True Americana these two. Makes me so proud.

  • I remember driving across the Golden Gate bridge & listening to Lay Lady Lay with Bob Dylan & Johnny Cash - loved that song -

  • This stuff should be released on the bootleg sessions. Is it rolling Bob!

  • True brilliance Jonny cash and Dylan

  • Two bosses of music...

  • ammok darauf müsst ihr mal ein paffen xDD

  • another song that makes my think of my best boy.Great one.

  • My favorite childhood song, sung no better than by Bob and Johnny! I LOVE this!!!
