Yeah, that was a make-shift dolly-move...
The tripod is evil...avoid the tripod!...I liked the moving shots best, more of that will be utilized in future features.
My favorite scene in this whole thing is definitely the dream sequence; Dave is a friggin' genius actor with his mannerisms.

there was also an "actual" doll in the bathroom, but its hard to make out.
we had a big monkey thing.
You can see it in the upper-right hand corner of the first part.
After the spider-munchy guy eats it, there was a scene of him holding it, but we ended up cutting it for time. Since we were late anyway, we figured no biggie.
