@twinsouls I love those conversations. That's like telling a mechanic that he isn't a real mechanic because he uses modern tools to fix a car. As long as the car gets fixed what difference does it make if he used Duct tape and a Hammer or a diagnostic machine and a Nappa tool set???????? I use Mk5's but I am feeling this Ns7 I played with it at guitar center. Lightweight and gets the job done.
As far as the computer is concerned, it doesn't care if it's a cd, piece of vinyl of wooden wheel, piece of string and a stick!
The other point to remember is, the crowd on the dance floor do not know or care what format your using or HOW you're DJing as long as you're rocking the party with awesome tunes.
@numarkmixer1... if you need the sample on cd look for "ultimate scratch CD", if you don't want to wait for it to be shipped I think you can buy it on amazon download in mp3.

Sure you risk the random Douchbag that will come up and tell you "real DJ's use vinyl" but Im gonna get this!!
Yo random Douchbag, I am a vinyl DJ and love my 1200's but my slipped disc in my back say's "F YOU"

The irony of that situation is that when they're dissing you, you're actually DJing.
And I'm a vinyl DJ of 25+ years. I say if you're moving the crowd then you're a real DJ - regardless of gear.
