Recently (Dec 10th 2011, PA ) saw my first VNV concert. Always have been an avid admirer of Ronan's and his music. It talks to me and I support him, his band, his music with all the passion I can. Why? Because there hasn't been a single time that one or more of his songs hasn't been there to support me when I needed to hear something the most. It changes, inspires, if anything, it's helped me to become...me. Not what others want me to be.

Anyway, great interview. VNV puts lyrics out there that actually mean something to me(^.^). They don't follow a specific "scene" and that's another great thing!

Ronan is a nihilist. He hates most of you people and wishes for you all to be dead. The lyrics are about other nihilists like I who live in such a place where we don't fit in due to our own choice. We despise the pathetic trendwhores, morality, values, and religion. Victory.Not.Vengaence is basically true black metal, but in a different style. This is not a love song. It's filled with hatred and loneliness.

Ronan is definately not a nihilist. He's more of a Pagan-humanist that is against prejudgement of those who are different in society. So if I don't judge anyone and I don't follow biblical moral values, that makes me a nihilist?? I don't think so....

VNV Nation is great, Ronan is a verry social and cool person. He makes one of the best lyrics I've ever seen, I wish him good luck with the new album in January.

Yeah, I asked that Q before I watched the vid. It's good to here that Ronan will be working on new material, I just hope he gets it out soon. Like Reformation, for insatnce (which should have come out before Judgement)
