Rock was entertainment in those days --- and I'd rather watch Roth launch 10-foot split jumps off the drum riser while singing "Unchained" than watch Plant act like a plant.

He's contributed way more musically than Roth ever will, and continued to quite a bit after Zep. Roth flamed out with "Calfornia Girls"...got so carried away it became more like watching a clown. However, everything he did with VH definitely rocked, and he gets the nod on karate kicks.
