  • Music : Requim for a Dream

  • Very good Video....the Music is perfect!

    :-)

  • i will never forget those and then british who had the hardest job of all though the americans job w3as herd but the british was harder i have to say

  • 3:14

I hope God will put a curse on you for the eternity due to this Blasphemy.

To kiss the cross before killing a human brother... shame on you.

  • @woobinda65 A Human brother?

    They we're nazi's.

Nazi's that killed 6 million Jews.

And the war that hitler started Killed 60million people.

So tell that to god and let him choose.

  • @ICoLdCs

I think that God would put a curse on everyone, he doesn't distinguish one uniform from the other.

That sniper is guilty like the Nazi's killing Jews.

Invoking God to kill better and more is simpy indecent.

    Just Spielberg could imagine this...

  • @woobinda65 so the sniper who fought bravely in a war for his country is guilty by shoting the nazi's who kill 6 million innocent people (women, children)in gas chamber ??? the sniper is the one who fights for the right thing and he also regrets killing nazi's,shown by the bibel specheses.so if you would tell the brave soldiers who went through hell, that all he was fighting for , for the freedom of jews etc, that he would go to hell ,what he obviously served btw ? then you are a complete asshole

  • @TheAK47striker

First, don't call me "asshole". I never offend any viewer and I don't want to be offended.

Second: do you personally know the german soldier he killed?

Do you know if he was a fanatic nazi or if he just did his duty of german man?

Do you know if he hated Jews or not? A soldier must be judged for what he is, not for what he fights for.

I'm surprise to read your comment if you are German, I think that you should be used to understand the past of your important leading Country...

  • @woobinda65 I'm russian, but i'm living in germany and i don't hate the people here, they are all nice and friendly people today, i just don't like the thought of judging a soldier in a relegious way, because it's all hevtic in a batlle and they just want to make their waythrough and survive.hating your enemy after going through that hell is just human and you can't blame them for that. i meant german in general, who likes doing horrible things and not that special one.

  • @woobinda65 sorry for calling you asshole btw. i must say i went to far on that one :(

  • @TheAK47striker

    Ok, it doesn't matter....

Anyway, honour the men which have fought for your Country.

The didn't have any other possibility than doing their duty.

As done by yankees, brits, italians, etc.

We must hate WAR, not the soldiers...

  • my Grandfather was in that day.

  • 53 dislikes ARE YOU SHITTING ME YOU? SLIMEY FUCKING WALRUS PUKE PEICES OF SHIT. though i am tired of this stupid song too

  • WHO THE FUCK CAN DISLIKE THAT U LOSERS THOSE MEN GAVE THERE LIFE!

  • I would have fought in ww 2 besides everyone has to die someday

  • my heroes!

  • better land there than in the pas de calais. the invasion would have failed so ahrd if they had tried that. half the german army was positioned there. btw this scene cuts the battle at omaha beach down to maybe 1/100 of how long it really lasted. by the time the americans got up the beach half the day had passed.

  • name of music ??????????

  • @Victormixnow prince neggafella starcrimes a million hope this helped :)

  • Oh God, how horrible that must have been cursed to be in that beach, I think that is something that no one will never forget it ... =,(

  • what is the name of this music?

  • @DangerClose999 requiem for a dream

  • @DangerClose999 lux aeterna

  • i'd hate to be the dudes in the front row of the boats... instant death once the ramp drops

  • im not going to lie..i wouldve shit myself...you'd have to have serious balls to even jump in the water, knowing that theirs hundreds of lmg's and artillery aiming at the door of your boat

  • 0:49 RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAPE...d

  • @HeadThrasher13 muuuulllltiiikillllll

  • that must have been the most abhorrent, horrendous and desperate event that a human being can ever experience until death... all of those poor men must have been terrorize when reaching the beach... but thanks to their bravery and courage, the atrocities that were taken place in europe has come to an end... thus honor them

  • ето была жуткая война.....

  • @thaMujaffa1

    I totally agree with you!

May ALL of them rest in peace for eternity...

It is WAR that we must deeply hate, NOT the soldiers...

  • i tought d-day was just stupid but now i see it in real i really care about the poeple that died on the fucking beaches

  • D-daay was the turning point in the war. Are you saying that men died for nothing and that the war was already over. Even in movies it looks like hell so imagine the real thing. Your saying that 11.000 ships and 13,00 planes went over and did nothing. Those men sacrificed their lives for u and so id like to see wat you ythink the experience was .like if you think that this was a useless battle cause mmy grandpa lost so many friends in his battalion because of that hell on earth

  • May God let us never forget the sacrifices of our forefathers. .

  • A terrible day of loss for both sides.. kind of 'hell on earth' of sorts......many a family must have been left dismembered .......brothers of mankind killing each other.....

  • Never forget those brave men who perished on those beaches that faithful day. Also never forget those who survived.

  • @Bandanabandito1 your right

  • @Bandanabandito1 and never forgot europeans soldiers died fighting the american invasor...

  • @Bandanabandito1 Fuck american lives. Nothing to remember.

  • that saveing private ryhn

  • wish the germans had won the battle on d day would have pissed churchill off lol

  • @alarms80 Not funny at all.

  • Makes you wanna fucking cry, doesn't it?

  • alot more guys drowned then getting shot i know cause my gpa was in the real thing

  • By all means I promote remembering and honoring your dead and your veterans, however most Americans I talk to seem to think the the U.S suffered the most and that it is they who defeated the Germans and did most of the fighting, when it is actually the exact opposite. They don't realize how big and bloody the fight in the East really was. It's disrespectful to the dozens of millions that died outside of the Western Front.

  • @strongman325 I'll say this bluntly, you're stretching numbers. Simple as that. I certainly don't know remotely near everything about this war and I don't pretend I do. I'm open to gaining knowledge on more historical topics other than World War Two. I hope to become a historian who specializes in World War Two. My age is currently 16 years and before I head into any other field of advanced education I'll serve in the U.S. Army Airborne. How old are you? What do you want to do besides complain?

  • The total amount of Soviet soldiers that were actually fighting is probably somewhere from 15-25 million. Considering that by the war's end 10.6 million were killed and probably 10-15 million were stationed in the East.

  • I meant to say 100,000 Germans not 10,000

  • drownng pool is repeated

  • why isn't there a video about the Germans?

  • So the fight on d-day and the Western Front is so immensly over exaggerated by Hollywood it's so funny. Why are there so little movies about the Eastern Front, and the resistance and uprisings there, which was a thousand times as brutal and severe as the Western Front.

  • @strongman325 .....

I hate worthless fucking trolls like you, the worst fighting on the Western Front was every bit as brutal as the worst on the Eastern Front. GET A GOD DAMN LIFE

  • @corvettecrazy262 Ahaha keep telling yourself that you stupid American. On the Eastern Front almost all Pows were shot on the spot or died in captivity. Both Hitler and Stalin had a complete disregard for human life on the Eastern Front, which is the exact opposite of the Western Front. You're like the 10000th person I'm saying this too, before making stupid comments do some research, read a book on the topic, don't just inject your Hollywood based opinion on a topic you know nothing about.

  • @strongman325 Uh huh, sure. You're not even worth a god damn dignified response asshole.

  • @corvettecrazy262 Or maybe you just can't formulate a worthwhile response simply because you're wrong. Soldiers and civilians on the Western Front faced minor skirmishes compared to the slaughter on the Eastern Front. Like I said, do some research before posting stupid comments.

  • @strongman325 Someday, you will regret being born. You are one hell of an annoying, irritating, ignorant, biased troll. I know I'm not alone when I say that.

  • @corvettecrazy262 Yea yea, keep trying to replace facts with insults. You're only making yourself look stupid. In what way am I biased? It is you who is biased, you base your opinion on Hollywood movies or HBO miniseries like Band of Brothers, and quite frankly it's pathetic.

  • @strongman325 Why would I try to explain actual history to you when I know you'll immediately deny it and bitch, bitch, bitch. You are the definition of ignorant servile scum.

  • @corvettecrazy262 Have I denied any history lol? You need to learn to comprehend the english language. Tell me, have you actually read my posts before posting your replies? The truth is, the Western Front was nothing compared to the Eastern Front. Yes, soldiers and civilians died, and may their souls rest in peace, but there are 40 times more dead on the Eastern Front, who died an unspeakably more gruesome death. Hollywood fails to commemorate them.

  • @strongman325 WTF!? Just because of the carelessness of Stalin and Soviet military leaders is why over 20 million of them were killed. How about you stop hiding behind a keyboard or control your trash talking internet self? I would love to meet you in person, it would be fun to see what would happen after saying such things that were posted in you last comments to my face. I'm done replying to fuel your unhealthy obsession. Do the world a favor and put a bullet in your head.

  • @corvettecrazy262 Both leaders were careless, and that's part of the reason why the fight was much hard and bloodier than in the West. BOTH the Soviets and the Germans wanted to exterminate each other, that wasn't the case in the West. At any given point 10 million soldiers were fighting on the Eastern Front, many times there were many more. Life for the average soldier on the Eastern Front was completely different than that on the West. Again, go do some RESEARCH, and read a book on it.

  • @strongman325 Research what book? The make believe history and ignorance guide for the annoying internet troll?

  • @corvettecrazy262 How about typing in "Eastern Front of World War 2" in google? Norman Davies wrote several books about fights on the Eastern Front, he's a very respected historian. All you know so far is the over-glorified by Hollywood. American contribution to world war 2.

  • @corvettecrazy262 Research the major battles of the Eastern Front which were the main reasons for Germany's downfall such as the: Battle of Stalingrad, Battle of Kursk, Siege of Leningrad, the Battle of Moscow the 1st and 2nd battle of Smolensk, the 1st and 2nd battle of Kiev, the Battle of Berlin, and many more, that completely dwarf the Normany Landingsand your beloved Battle of the Bulge and the battle of Bastogne. How's that for research you American idiot.

  • @strongman325 Beloved? Why would anyone belove a battle? And guess what? Germany had 2300 tanks on the Western Front at the start of the Battle of the Bulge with only 900 on the Eastern Front. This fact is taken from the documentary series The World At War made nearly 40 years ago.

  • @corvettecrazy262 Mmm I find that hard to believe considering the entire German Army had more than just 3200 tanks by 1945. Stop trying to pass off self-invented bullshit as facts.

  • @corvettecrazy262 by 1944 the Germans were producing over 27,000 tanks and self-propelled guns.

  • @strongman325 Germany only produced around 20,000 tanks for the war. Many of which were made in pre war years. I'm only relaying what seems to be credible info to the vast majority of history buffs. The Battle of Normandy is actually the largest single battle in history, but Normandy was initially the entire Western Front. I'm not denying that the Eastern Front was larger or had more casualties,it was but does it matter? No! What mattered was Germany's defeat by the combined effort of the Allies

  • @corvettecrazy262 Nooo.... the "Battle of Normandy" was not the single largest battle in history, I don't know what kind of "history buffs" you get your information from but the largest single battle of human history is by far the Battle of Stalingrad which took place on the Eastern Front of World War 2, surprise surprise. Like I said, google "Eastern Front of world war 2", and you'll find basic info there you knucklehead.

  • @strongman325 Stalingrad was the bloodiest battle in history, and caused the most casualties. In terms of troops involved, Normandy was slightly larger. But Normandy contained what was the Western Front for the first couple months after the invasion. There were more German troops on the Eastern Front, but the Eastern Front was not one battle.

  • @corvettecrazy262 Normandy was nowhere near the Battle of Stalingrad in terms of troops involved. At the time of the Soviet counter-offensive the number of troops of each side is well over 2 million, the Germans had about 1,011,000 troops, while the Soviets had about 1,103,000 troops. That doesn't include the hundreds of thousands that died in Stalingrad before the Soviet counter-offensive. Stalingrad caused over 2 million casualties, with over 2 million troops involved.

  • @strongman325 4 million troops were involved during the peak of the Normandy campaign. Over 3.5 allied army soldiers, and nearly 1.5 million German soldiers

  • @corvettecrazy262 When the fighting on the Eastern Front reached it's peak probably around 12-14 million soldiers were involved, perhaps even more. Even at the start of the invasion, which was Operation Barbarossa, there were over 7 million troops involved, that quickly grew to over 12 million. Remember that during world war 2 the Russians conscripted over 32 million men into their military, most of which fought on the Eastern Front.

  • Just because they're in the military, doesn't mean they're actually fighting. Every ten servicemen have to provide for every one infantryman, or and person in combat. I researched a reference book a couple months ago, it stated near the end of the war 12.5 million Soviet (maybe exclusively Russian only) were in the military. 12 million Americans were in the U.S. military, I can't remember more than that.Gloating about how many more people were killed in the East is an unhealthy obsession.

  • @corvettecrazy262 Because they died for freedom and it just goes to show how much the soldiers in the East really suffered.

  • @corvettecrazy262 The Soviet military had 32 million during World War 2, the American Military had 16 million. I said many of the Soviets were actually fighting. The military men weren't working in factories, forced laborers, women, children, and some men that were civilians were working in factories providing for the soldiers.

  • @corvettecrazy262 The Battle of Normandy consisted of about 175,000 Allied troops and 10,000 German troops. Allied casualties amount to around 10,000 while German casualties were around 4000-9,000. I don't mean to disrespect the Allied troops that died on D-day but compared to the Battle of Stalingrad the Battle of Normandy really was a small skirmish if you think about it. And yes I also agree that the Western Front shortened the war a lot and saved a lot of lives.

  • @strongman325 175,000 was the initial attack force on June 6, 1944 alone. The American 1st Army and British 2nd Army made up the first invasion force. Normandy wouldnt reach 3.5 million Allied troops until the battle of Normandy was almost over. I'm sure you just researched Normandy invasion on Wikipedia right? And by the way, 380,000 German troops were stationed in Normandy at the time of the attack. 10,000 is the amount of casualties that the Germans had on D-day alone.

  • @corvettecrazy262 I am well aware of the fact that 3.5 million allied troops fought on the Western Front.

  • @corvettecrazy262 Germany would have still lost without a Western Front, yes it would have taken longer and there would have been more casualties, but they would have still lost. However the U.S and Britain would have no chance of defeating Hitler without the Soviet Union, considering about 70-75% of the German forces were fighting on the Eastern Front. So yes it DOES matter, Hollywood grossly over-glorifies the skirmishes that took place on the Western Front, and ignores the Eastern Front.

  • Comment removed

  • @strongman325 I meant to say Western Front in that last comment. Sorry, lol. Over 3.5 million German servicemen were part of the invasions of France, Belgium, and Holland in 1940. The true peak of German Forces in the West during the war

  • @corvettecrazy262 Yes but when Germany invaded France in 1940 they were not at war with the Soviet union so they could afford to send many more troops. The Battle of France was a humiliating defeat for France in my opinion, their precious Maginot Line was outflanked and they were totally out-smarted. France fell within 6 weeks, this includes the Fighting outside of France. Poland lasted for 5 weeks against Nazi Germany and from September 17 the Soviet Union.

  • @corvettecrazy262 In 1944 alone, Germany produced 27,300 tanks and self-propelled guns.

  • @strongman325 I said tanks only, excluding self propelled guns and tank destroyers

  • @corvettecrazy262 Self-propelled guns can be counted as tanks as they are very similar, however if its only tanks the total number of tanks produced by the Germans is somewhere around 60,000. The Battle of Kursk was the largest tank battle in history, although it is largely misinterpreted as an exclusively tanks battle, which it was certainly not there were many foot soldiers as well.

  • @strongman325 I agree that Germany would have lost without a Western Front, but it undoubtively contributed to the length of the war in Europe. Considering the Eastern Front was a 4 year continuous theater of war, it certainly was the main reason why Germany was defeated. The largest theater of war in history, but the Western Front was also a huge theater of war. During the peak German military presence after the 1944 invasion of Normandy, 40% of its' troops in combat were commited to the West.

  • @corvettecrazy262 The Germans had about 1.5 million troops fighting on the Western Front after the Normandy invasion. The Eastern front is harder to tell, mainly due to the desperation of the Germans towards the end, which resulted in lack of organization and documentation. But the number is probably around 5-7 million troops.

  • @corvettecrazy262 The reason I say the Eastern Front was much more brutal because both sides had ideologies that directly opposed each other and it truly was a fight to the death. Out of about 5.3 million POW's taken by the Axis on the Eastern Front, about 3.6-4 million died in captivity. Both sides treated their POW's with extreme horror and malnutrition. Total casualties amount to about 11 million dead Soviets and 4 million dead Germans on the Eastern Front.

  • @strongman325 The Eastern Front generally had the fiercest fighting and most brutal nature than any other theater. The fighting experienced in battle in North Africa, Italy, the Western Front & the Pacific were at times as bitter ferocious and deadly for the soldiers involved. But making a generalization the Eastern Front takes it easily. But generalizations and stereotypes are never a good thing. The Russians were usually worse than the Germans.

  • @corvettecrazy262 I agree that the fighting in Italy, Africa, and especially the Pacific reached very brutal periods which may have matched that of the Eastern Front, but the difference is that outside of the Eastern Front this type of ferocious fighting was only seen in short periods of time, such as the Battle of the Bulge, however on the Eastern Front this was the type of fighting ALL the time. Like the famous "Pavlov's house" in Stalingrad, the Germans tried to take one house for 2 months.

  • @strongman325 Then what are you arguing for? It's quite the diservice telling off all military personnel that were involved in all other parts of world war two. What nationality are you? I get the feeling that you're not a citizen of an Eastern European country.

  • @corvettecrazy262 I am 100% Polish lol, my nation probably suffered the most during World War 2. We lost about 17% of our population, more than any other country.

  • @corvettecrazy262 I'm arguing because it is very ignorant to do what Hollywood does. They glorify the U.S Army, and say how much "suffering they had to endure". They keep saying that the U.S saved the world and that D-day was the turning point of World War 2. Well 365,000 dead Americans is very little compared to 26.5 million dead Soviets, 12 million dead Chinese, 6 million dead Polish citizens, and many others. 5 million troops on one front is dwarfed by 15 million in the East.

  • @strongman325 Listen, most Americans that actually give a damn about any history know that we were one of the nations that suffered the least during World War Two. We weren't effected by the horrible bombing raids, vengeance weapon launches, occupation, tyranny and oppression like others were. Hollywood certainly hasn't made the abundance of World War 2 films that you claim. The film Enemy At The Gates was partially created by Americans. Everyone who contributed deserves to be recognized.

  • @corvettecrazy262 Yes Americans that actually study history. I am also 16. I'm telling you everything from personal experience. I am by no means stretching any numbers. 26.5 million Soviet Citizens WERE killed in World War 2, 12 million Chinese Citizens WERE killed in World War 2, 6 million Polish citizens were killed(3 million Jewish, 3 million non-jewish). Don't tell me what I do and don't know I have read countless articles and books, and have seen countless documentaries on this topic.

  • @corvettecrazy262 D-day was NOT a turning point. By June 6 1944 the Russians were almost at the gates of Warsaw, that is deep inside of Poland. By that time every German general with an ounce of sanity left knew that the war was over. D-day does not compare in any way to the Battle of Stalingrad, the Battle of Kursk, or the Siege of Leningrad lol. That's like comparing a fist fight between little kids to a full-scale shootout.

  • @strongman325 Not at all troll.

  • @corvettecrazy262 Let's put it this way: D-day lasted one day, the Battle of the Bulge lasted 40 days while the Battle of Stalingrad lasted 7 and a half months, the Siege of Leningrad lasted 872 days, only the Battle of Kursk lasted a little shorter: 40 days. D-day saw a combined amount of about 275,000 soldiers fighting. The Battle of the Bulge is the only battle which compares, it saw over 1 million men fighting.

  • @strongman325 How do you not understand? D-day was the begining day of the 3 month battle of Normandy. Compare D-day to the first day of Stalingrad or Kursk. Not the entire battle.

  • @corvettecrazy262 D-day was ONE battle. The Normandy CAMPAIGN lasted a little over a month. It saw about 1.7 million soldiers fight and it saw about 230,000 casualties. The Battle of Stalingrad saw over 3 million soldiers fight and over 2 million casualties. That is the big difference. There were some bigger battle on the Western Front, but they weren't a fight to the death as in the East THATS what I'm talking about.

  • @strongman325 D-day was not one battle. I can't explain because it's just so blatently obvious. I said don't believe every "source" you find browsing, all right?

  • @corvettecrazy262 D-day is one day of the Normandy campaign you moron.

  • @corvettecrazy262 Lol, I'm the on hiding behind a computer screen? I think what you need is a little self-evaluation.

  • @corvettecrazy262 nice burn dude!

  • @strongman325 no shit sherlock

  • @corvettecrazy262 I'm not rich, so I don't have a library in my house. You realize that when you Google or Wikipedia something you should check the source right? Google and Wikipedia are wonderful tools that provide citations and references most of the time, and they are very useful if used correctly.

  • @corvettecrazy262 Just in case you didn't know the entire Normandy Campaign consisted of several battles, where as Stalingrad, Kursk, Leningrad, were all one, single battle.

  • @strongman325 Normandy is classified as a battle. If you were sensible at all you would realize how bizarre and irrational your claims are. Re-read your posted comments and see

  • @corvettecrazy262 In comparison, the Battle of Stalingrad saw around 3 million troops fighting. The Battle of Kursk saw around 2.6 million men fighting. The Siege of Leningrad is a little less documented and I am researching it as we speak.

  • @strongman325 Researching it doesn't mean Googling it or searching on wikipedia. Even some reference books I've found aren't spot on accurate.

  • @strongman325 D-Day was the final nail in the coffin for the third reich. Not the absolute most significant one but nonetheless important.

  • @corvettecrazy262 I never said it wasn't significant, it isn't a crime to be an American patriot, but it is disrespectful to be ignorant of what others had to sacrifice.

  • @corvettecrazy262 I don't plan to become a historian, I am planning to study to become a computer engineer actually. However I will study European History as a minor in college. Ask a typical American if they have heard of the film "Enemy at the Gates" and the typical answer will be no. Ask them if they have heard of "Saving Private Ryan", "Band of Brothers", or "The Pacific", and the answer will be yes most of the time.

  • @strongman325 So? Is it a crime to be an American and be patriotic?

  • @strongman325 D-day was a considerable turning point, along with the outcome of the battle of Stalingrad, the battle of kursk and in the victory in North Africa were the major turning points in the war. Each one marked the defeat of the Axis.

  • @corvettecrazy262 The ferocious battles and sieges seen on the Eastern Front consisted of prolonged house to house warfare. Houses and streets literally changed hands dozens of times. Imagine that, the Germans succeeded in defeating the all powerful french in 6 weeks, the Germans tried for two months to take one house in Stalingrad and failed. The Germans and Russians slaughtered each other and civilians mercilessly on the Eastern Front.

  • @strongman325 If that's true, wouldn't have all the occupied and oppressed Soviet civilians been massacred?

  • @corvettecrazy262 The Germans wanted to exterminate the Slavs as well, so the Eastern Front was ordered the be a war of extermination by Hitler. The death toll in the Eastern Front is over 30 million. Military deaths are around 15 million. Soviet losses amount to around 26.5 million. Many were due to disease, famine, and Nazi genocide.

  • Wow, I love how Hollywood over glorifies D-Day. There were about 10,000 casualties. The Soviets suffered about 1,120,000 casualties in the battle of Stalingrad alone. Another 860,000 soviet casualties were sustained in the battle of kursk. The Warsaw Uprising saw about 220,000-250,000 poles murdered in 63 days(about 200,000-225,000 were civilians). Operation Barbarossa saw about 4 million casualties(about 900,000 deaths) on the Soviet Side.

  • I love how Paramount doesn't care when you use their clips, yet, Constantin films takes a dump on your face if you use their clips.

  • Saving Private Ryan, awesome movie

  • i have a question whats the name of the film ???

  • @helghasty Saving Private Ryan.

  • this song just fits into many tpics thats why in many vids also its not a bad song people just don't like hearing it everywhere

  • Would it KILL people to put MUSIC VIDEO in the title?

  • @kawless I put it in the description instead.

  • it is sofucking unreal! song is REqueam for a dream

  • the best ever film made.

  • if i wuld of been there i than i wuld probably start to screem like a sissy just when the ramp wuld start to open :S

  • i cryed, and how old these soldiers are now p.s. weren't there mortar teams in back of the bunkers? They caused the artillery

  • how sad

  • It's sad without the song

  • the song makes it sad

  • r.i.p. also to the young german soldiers who did not know what they where fighting for...

  • @alabama0708 fuck em, keeping our boys safe and sound was top of the agenda.

  • @alabama0708 fuch the germans back then they deserved to die if they fought

  • "Full credit goes to Paramount Pictures.

This is my first music video and i decided to make it about the beach head at Omaha from saving private ryan, song: Lux Aeterna - Requiem for a dream

All video and music is copyright to its respective owner."

    .....good save

  • why is it that the battle ships couldnt take out the pill boxes before beach invasion?

  • @DecaPierce, they were trying. The battleships where throwing as much high explosive into the area as possible. The pill boxes were heavily reinforced concrete, and unless a round from the cannons hit the observation slit directly, killing the people inside, the pillboxes protected the people within.

They tried floating tanks in to use on the pillboxes, but due to the currents from the storms the platforms holding the tanks capsized on landing.

  • To be honest Germany could have beaten any country 1 on 1 by itself. It was fighting US, UK, Canada, Australia, France, and many other in Europe. Obiously they would have won. I'm glad that they did but im just saying some truth

  • @affanza yea exactly! They fought against.. Russia.. Russia had 1 bigger army then wermacht.. USA had an army euqual to russia.. Great brittian had an bad army.. But one good RAF.. R.I.P DEUTSCHE REICH!

  • @MegaHeilHitler

I hope you get the right medications for your insanity.

Great britain had a formadable navy and the RAF was only good because of the help of the polish pilots the americans and ofcourse mrs holyness herself; the spitfire. Usa army numbers were not even slightly the same as the Russians.

But Usa had the top production capacity because they did not get bombed every week. Fuck the evil and sick german reich and stick your hitler right up your fat swedish ass.
