The V-6 late in 2009 will get Ford's new Turbo 6. Hp=275,Tq=280. Mpg Hwy will be 1 MPG better than Camaro's V-6.

not many ppl who buy these cars care about gas milage much, they just want a car that is nice and can perform. if you want a mustang, camaro, or any other sports car and you care a lot about mpg, then there is no reason for getting one.

Chris, that would be 31 mpg on the Hwy & 24 in the city. Ford makes almost 80 % of all Mustangs with 6 cyl. And yet gets 275 HP.Torque is 280. Most people buy 'Stangs for looks not performence. Just like the upcoming Camaro.

the v6 challnegr runs 16.1 and the v6 mustang 15.1. the gt mustang runs 13.5 and the r/t challenger runs 14.0. The srt8 challenger runs 13.0 in the 1/4 mile and the gt500 mustang 12.6 where are you getting your ingo

i have seen STOCK challenger r/ts run in the lower to mid 13s

and i already know the gt500 can beat an srt, it has 75 more hp and doesnt have as much weight

and ive already beaten a couple mustang gts

the 09s have 370 hp compared to the 08s 340, the best time the r/ts can hit is 13.6 i go to the track almost every weekend never seen better than 13.6. And ur on crack when your comparing the srt-8 to the gt500. The gt500 is lighter and has 70 more hp, the 08 srt-8s run mid 13s and the 09 srt8s run 13.0 at BEST the 08s only came in auto thats y they were slower.I dont know how u "already know" you prolly saw some shitty ass driver driving the gt500 then.
