LG Chocolate Touch Review

I've had this phone for two years and have taken great care of it. I do like it, but I honestly can't stand the constant freezing of the screen. These new smart phones with touch screen settings are just way too sensitive and I'm actually down grading my phone to a LG Cosmos slider. Being that I only use my cell to text and call I can care less for todays hottest brands

@Caitlinm1234 please tell me you're kidding. if you think this phone sucks, i will tell you right now, the kin one m sucks even worse. basically, the kin uses microsoft - the single worst operating system for cell phones today! take it from a former agent. if you're going to upgrade get a smartphone, get android. superior technology. if you want something sturdy that stands up to drops and abuse, i would recommend something by motorola or the casio commando. it's worth the smartphone data plan.

had this phone for 1 year. it SUCKS for texting...as the touch screen doesnt ever work. And when it does decide to work, it's presses wherever. Calibrating does not help. DO NOT GET THIS PHONE. It is very frustrating and makes you want to smash it against the wall into a million pieces or burn it.

i fucking hate this phone. i've had it for around a year and it looks like shit. all the cheap paint chips off. it sucks for texting. its slow. sometimes when i use it it randomly starts vibrating a thousand times and opening random stuff. it also turns off randomly, usually conveniently in the middle of texting i have many other problems with it. i would not recommend it to anyone. luckily i'm getting a droid this week :D

Hard to txt, I have to use a end-pen or something to tab letters because my finger would not be accurate in the touchscreen, I have txt in my phone, LG and I can not save them since it only holds 200, mmmmm I tried too many ways and no way to save them.

I have this phone and so do my aunt, mom and cousin. For about two months now, we have been having multiple problems with our touch screens. My phone does what I call 'spazzing out' meaning, I will not be Kuching the phone and it will start clicking random buttons and calling random people. my aunts doesn't work at all and my moms calibration Is so far off that we can't even fix it. Takes some getting used to, though that might be me. I used to have a chocolate 2. So no touchscreen or QWERTY keyboard. I love it. Tiny bit of lag at times, but it's not like you can't live with it. I love it! 4.5 stars!

@artisticglitter It's a virtual Keyboard. When you go to text somebody, you can turn it verticle for the older styler with the "dial" keys. Or if you turn it sideways, it is a virutal QWERTY keyboard.

@KewlatHeart - I think this phone is better than the Reality. I went to the VZW store and played around with the Reality a bit. I didn't think it was as user friendly as this phone (except for the battery cover, which at first is REALLY tough to get off). I just like the way the phone looks.

I also heard that if you drop things alot, the Reality is not the phone for you. You'll be replacing it alot.

Bar none, this is probly the best VZW phone I've had so far.

Question: I currently have the LG Chocolate 3 with the MicroSD card that has an ass-load of music on it. IF I transfer that same card to this LG phone, will everything still be there...or do I have to re-format the card for this particular phone?

well if you want a physical keyboard get the rogue. but if you like texting with touch screen you could get the chocolate but it is a resistive touch screen so it might take a while to get used to but you choose anything you want i chose the chocolate.
