I still prefer German Thrash bands. Even talking about american thrash bands, Steve DiGiorgio is better than Burton, and Paul Bostaph is faster and more creative than Charlie and Dave. Lee Altus is a better guitar player than any of these ones. Chuck Billy and Blitz are of the best singers in thrash metal. And not even one of this bands is considered in the big four?

Anthrax is a great band, one of the best of all time, yet they are so underrated!! They have the best vocalist of the Big 4, BY FAR, they have arguably the best drummer of the Big 4, they have a great bassist, and 2 CraAAazy guitarists, who are just as good as any other. Anthrax is just EPIC!!!

I do miss the late 80's to mid 90's.... some great bands have come out since, but the energy is just not what it was... i saw Joey Belladonna in New Haven cT on March 11... he played like 10 old Anthrax songs... at best there were like a dozen people moshing... including one jerk that thought the point was to throw his 300 pounds of bulk at everyone... not like, say, Sepultura in 94 when the whole friggin place was a pit... or Slayer in 91,,, Geezuz send me time machine!!!!!!
