First, you put a period after all in your sentence. "First of all" is a sentence fragment because it doesn't have a verb. You should have used a comma. Though, they are not allowed to edit the model without approval from SEGA. Plus, all Nintendo did was take the SA model and give it more detail. They didn't edit anything past what SEGA/Sonic Team had already done. Nintendo is allowed to use the Sonic design in certain games as long as they buy specific rights to the title. Anything outside written contracts with SEGA is not allowed. Basically, Nintendo can do nothing to Sonic and publish it without approval from SEGA/Sonic Team.
