@Hardbass11 the usa is not in between two tectonic plates the japanese island is a submergant plate that is tectonic plate being submerged by another so no offense the dc earthqauke was from a fault line under the mississipi a fault line is not as sever as your island sinking itself

The earthquake occurred at 3.11 was categorized into level 7 at Miyagi Preff...
And the big earthquakes like you see on this video have been hit the northeast area (consist of Fukushima, miyagi etc...) more than 700 time after that.

For me and other people it's just plain unbelievable, but that's probably because we just can't imagine the amount of energy that is harvested in an earthquake.
@weeardguy yeah well, i'm from Finland and used to amounts of snow up to my ears every winter with 25-30 below minus..and everything works as normal.. Helsinki airport has been closed for a half an hr throughout ALL winter weather conditions for the past 15 yrs..we just kinda wonder what the heck is up with the rest of the world getting paralyzed after 15 cm of snow in other countries..so i suppose, the "disasters" that we are all individually used to just becomes the norm that others don't get
