  • This is the best portativ organ work I've seen. Wonderful use of the instruments. Great video :)

  • DAVID THANKS !

  • Lovely soft sound

  • Fantastic, Cool, Excellent...

  • hey David

what is the name of the Remo drum you are playing and how can i buy one like it.

could i find it on Remo web site. I do have a persian zarb, tombak, it seems this drum has a more superior sound quality than a tombak.

  • @zeebacefat

    It's a 16" Remo Djembe.

  • Excellent, excellent!

  • I have just bought 16 notes portative organ! I tried to follow your music, but it was very difficult for a beginner like me.

  • great!!!!

  • Fantástico. BRAVO!

  • Nice!!

How does the key of the organ transmit the movement to the valve without creating an opening for the air to come out??

  • @hallobaaaby I always had that doubt.... In fact air does come out, but in very small amounts compared to what goes to the pipes, so everything works. Different "mechanisms" or "actions" try to solve the air going out issue and they deal with it in various ways.

  • @allcontakt Thanks alot for reply! Infact when i was reading the reply somehow i got the 'insight' that this type of sound producing pipe is not like those with reeds: on my highland pipes, before using goretex bag i had minor leakage and no matter how small it is felt and exhausts you. On the organ however, the flow of air is much more gentle or it may cause overblow (jump an octave --haha) so small leaking of air shouldn't be drastic like you say.

  • haunting and lovely! thank you so much for sharing. more please!

  • Bellísimo

  • is it Djembe?

  • It seems to be a doumbek, maybe from Remo.

  • Hi! It's great! really a new experience.

Have some other portativo 's examples of this way of playing?

  • Cool.

  • Tremendo binomio

  • who is the maker of portativo

  • where could one buy a medieval organetto?

  • What frame drum is D

    avid playing?

    Brand? Type? Thank you.

  • It's Remo's djembe.

    Not precisely a "frame" drum.

  • Medieval indeed! I can imagine geese and pigs wandering about, and peasants dancing, as the music plays on a muddy farmland. Absolutely great.

  • What verve when east meets west .

  • Moreso when North meet South.

  • excellent!!!

    subarashii!!

    this mut be released!

  • excellente! suenan fantastico y se parecen a un Caravaggio painting!

    Congratulations!

    Cata is my niece

  • absolutely great!

    wonderful!

I would like to know more about Per Non Far Lieto. When was this work written?

    Incredible!

  • thanks a lot.

It's a ballata by Gheradello da Firenze, an Italian composer of the Trecento.

  • @DavidKuckhermann What is the name of those instruments?

  • @777keno They are on the title-organetto and percussion.

  • This is outstanding. Great musicians. Very good performance. Very impressive. Thanks for posting this wonderful piece of music. Keep up the great work.

  • Wonderful. Thank you for posting!

  • Really great

  • Felicitaciones!! me encanta como se mezcla el sonido con el movimiento y la conversacion que tienen ahi entre ustedes por medio de los sonidos...muy bonito.
