Can someone clarify something for me. This iman says that the act of worshiping God, a monotheistic God, will get someone into Heaven. Does that mean that a Muslim can sin, worship Allah, and then go to Heaven? Does that mean that every Muslim will go to Heaven? If not, how can a Muslim know if, or if not, they are going to Heaven. Where is that in the Koran?

But it is said that all Muslims will eventually be going to heaven by believing that there is no God but Allah and that Prophet Muhammad pbuh is his messenger. Can a Muslim be sure of being allowed entrance into heaven? What guarantees it? As this fellow says - monotheism? So as long as a person only believes in one God, they go to heaven? (many religions do, of which Christianity is one.) Seems simple, but how does a Muslim atone for their sin? Good deeds, pure heart? God won't allow a sinner (of which we all are) into heaven. @modster99 There is no such thing as a 'muslim god'. No muslim can be perfect because perfection is an attribute of God. The prophets were perfect examples for us as in the case of Muhammad (pbuh) but only God is truly perfect. We only worship therefore God.
Secondly we go to heaven by two factors, our scale of good deeds vs bad deeds and God's mercy. This is what Islam teaches us. As Islam is a religion of justice.
And we are not born 'sinful' as the church doctrine teaches, we are born pure.
it is very easy to explain. first of all, don't try to use a single passage to try to prove a point. You will look foolish like the fellow in this video does. if you read all of mathew 10, you will find that Jesus means that he doesn't bring peace, in the sense that because of belief in him, people will disagree. The beginning of Mattew 10 explains it all. by sword he means that relationships will be severed. Elsewhere in the Bible Jesus says to turn the other cheek. look at it in context.

Jesus never did any of the objectionable things that Mohamed did. Jesus always commanded for us to forgive. Jesus also offered a true, and certain way to Heaven - through Him. This is the hardest part for other religions to accept - that salvation is a free gift. Other religions say that it must be earned, which is impossible.

Some of the Quran is the same as the Bible. The Quran was written down, bit by bit over 20 years. Muhammad's first wife's cousin was Christian and Muhammad also talked with the Jews. This is so classic!!!! I like the muslim here but he does what every other muslim does with the scripture--that is to not care about the context. The verse here is at the end of a parable. All Christians know that parables illustrate a point. It is not probable or possible to make meaning from a standalone verse.
Now, I don't take the verse to mean this but Jesus, being God,could command those to be brought before Him for dead. That has nothing to do with jihad, however!

But it is said that all Muslims will eventually be going to heaven by believing that there is no God but Allah and that Prophet Muhammad pbuh is his messenger. And if you commit a sin, you can ask for forgiveness and if you truly are sorry than God is most merciful.

Jihad is struggle against evil and struggle against ones own evil desires. Every struggle requires sacrifice (time, effort, money). Sometimes struggle is so heavy that it requires one to put his/her own life in peril and stand up for the truth. This is the struggle that one faces on the battlefield when own life may be sacrificed. Battle is not the only Jihad, just ONE of the types. Jesus brought the same message as Muhammad. Difference is, Jesus came to Bani Israel, Muhammad to mankind.

This preist, who looks to be a Catholic, doesn't seem to know the parable Jesus was teaching on. It was about a king and his servants and his people grew angry with him. The king, aiming to establish his will them said Luke 19:27 according to Jesus. Check out the book of Luke and you'll find he wasn't teaching ANYTHING close to what your prophet did.

Can a Muslim be sure of being allowed entrance into heaven? What guarantees it? As this fellow says - monotheism? So as long as a person only believes in one God, they go to heaven? (many religions do, of which Christianity is one.) Seems simple, but how does a Muslim atone for their sin? Good deeds, pure heart? God won't allow a sinner (of which we all are) into heaven. @modster99 There is no such thing as a 'muslim god'. No muslim can be perfect because perfection is an attribute of God. The prophets were perfect examples for us as in the case of Muhammad (pbuh) but only God is truly perfect. We only worship therefore God.
Secondly we go to heaven by two factors, our scale of good deeds vs bad deeds and God's mercy. This is what Islam teaches us. As Islam is a religion of justice.
And we are not born 'sinful' as the church doctrine teaches, we are born pure.

it is very easy to explain. first of all, don't try to use a single passage to try to prove a point. You will look foolish like the fellow in this video does. if you read all of mathew 10, you will find that Jesus means that he doesn't bring peace, in the sense that because of belief in him, people will disagree. The beginning of Mattew 10 explains it all. by sword he means that relationships will be severed. Elsewhere in the Bible Jesus says to turn the other cheek. look at it in context.

@elmirasahar That is true, and it is unfortunate. The difference is the history of Mohamed and Jesus. Jesus lived a perfect life. Did not kill, nor instruct to kill. Jesus never did any of the objectionable things that Mohamed did. Jesus always commanded for us to forgive. Jesus also offered a true, and certain way to Heaven - through Him. This is the hardest part for other religions to accept - that salvation is a free gift. Other religions say that it must be earned, which is impossible.

Jesus never preached jihad. That was a verse taken out of context (on purpose, if the fellow knew the bible like he claimed, or an accident, and therefore he is a liar). This is a parable, regarding God expecting of us based on how he has gifted us. We will be rewarded at the end times, and AT THAT TIME, those who were opposed to Jesus will be dealt with. Take it for what you will, but this fellow is obviously misguided, or is deliberately misrepresenting what Jesus said

Having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ is what allows a person to classify themselves as a Christian. Read Matthew 7:21-23.

Their are no flaws within the qu'ran. Yet, ive noticed the Bible (new testament) especially will be the fall of christians. For every "spiritual occurence", 2 or 3 men tell a story, but each differ. Tweaked, is a better word. beware of the macedonians, romans, etc.

Luke 19:12 He ( Jesus ) said: "A man of noble birth went to a distant country to have himself appointed king and then to return.
Jesus is telling the parable, a story about a noble man..Jesus did not order to kill but he's referring to the man in the story. Jesus will never order anyone to be killed, He is all about peace. Muslims only ake a portion of a context in the Holy Bible without reading the whole passages.

this is what's wrong with islamic teachings and the dangerous way of thinking it instills in its followers because of the imperfections of the kuran. Bcoz the kuran is so flawed, its so often tweaked or interpreted to his own liking to accomplish his /her goals jus like the jihad. Dont even associate the jihad of islam to what he read in the holy bible. The verse clearly referred to "enemies". Some of the Quran is the same as the Bible. The Quran was written down, bit by bit over 20 years. Muhammad's first wife's cousin was Christian and Muhammad also talked with the Jews. Ishmael knew the Scriptures from Abraham and passed them on. But there are also errors. Jesus said himself that he was the son of God but Muhammad rejected that part. He also rejected how Jesus taught that God gave Adam only one wife and that in the OT camels are called unclean and not to be eaten.

Sheikh Abdullah is totally loosin the point. The verse he is quotin from bible is from the parable Jesus told to people. The parable is about last judgement, not about Jihad. Sheik Abdullah is lackin the knowledge of biblical hermeneutics(the study of the principles of interpretation concerning the books of the Bible).

@geraldfoushee Luke was a physician who was a student of Paul and Mark was a student of Peter. The earliest testaments were most likely Mathew and John. There were 20 some texts in the Constantine Bible that, like Mohammed said, had been lost.
The Council of Nicea decision that Jesus was God and man was a farce - and most Christians would call me a heretic for saying so. Most Christian Churches no longer know about the Didache or include the Gospels of Thomas, Judas, Truth, Jubilees etc...

@geraldfoushee The relationship with God is different with Christianity that with the Muslims. Christians believe that God is the creator of all things and that we are all God's children. In Islam, God is Lord and all people are Gods servants or slaves who must submit to Gods will.
Christians refer to God as "Our Father," the prophet Jesus as the son, and the feeling of God in your heart as the Holy Spirit... all different manifestations of the same God. This is misunderstood as polytheism.

Jesus is the Son of God. He prays as tho a Son speaks to the Father.
The Father said, "I and my Son is One". God is made up of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Therefore, Jesus is God.
Muslim speaks of Jihad, war, fighting against 'Infidels'. But Christ told me to love my neighbour as myself. If someone slaps me on the right cheek, I give them my left. When Christ was hung on the cross, he was silent. He didn't rebel. Based on this, I believe in Christ and not Islam.

This is so classic!!!! I like the muslim here but he does what every other muslim does with the scripture--that is to not care about the context. The verse here is at the end of a parable. All Christians know that parables illustrate a point. It is not probable or possible to make meaning from a standalone verse.
Now, I don't take the verse to mean this but Jesus, being God,could command those to be brought before Him for dead. That has nothing to do with jihad, however!
