This is almost exactly what I am facing with a recently rescued, from right under the euth needle, a red acd boy. He has possibly been terrorized by a poorly motivated owner. Now, I have to turn him around from charging at my husband and son. So far, he is in an x-pen, fine when I am stuffing his face with treats.

@redbugdog1 How will this puppy be when introduced to new people? Well, the same, each time. My goal was to give the owner some knowledge and skills of what to do, to manage this. By teaching behaviours (done with herself, not the stranger) the dog gains confidence. The hardest thing, when teaching people what to do, is to convince them that the goal is NOT to get closer and closer to the scary stranger.
